6-0 win = 6 points
5-1 win = 5 points
4-2 win = 4 points
3-3 draw, plus tie breaker = 4 points

best result (6-0) means best points, 2nd best result means 2nd best points and, well... there's no benefit to playing for a 3-3 draw.

I think it's best to play the game as per the rules which were set before the game began. There was plenty of time for all these comments before the game began, which could've led to a change then. I just can't see the good in changing the rules after play has begun.

Changes can always be made before the start of the next season.

I can't see it on the site, but how is the table scored? by overall match wins (like the super league) or by frames won (like FCL/FBL)?

You're right, that's why I suggested going by frame difference, but I think Jay's already said he's going by frames won. People may get ill if he changes it now.

Doubles Premier League is now underway!

Fixture set one games have now been released and are shown on the website. I have linked you to the page below though to save some time as i will not post them on the thread just yet.

I have also provided the link to the rules, the format also shows on the rules page to. Again i will say if a game does go to default then I WILL ONLY accept posts on the Doubles Premier League forum page and will make a default decision from that and that alone.

Very good start to the event so far with three full games being completed already

ive messaged both my opponents, and there both american, i can normally get online from between 3 and 6 pm (GMT) and can play most nights from after the time i login, i can re log in upto around 10pm, xxx said he would be on after midnight yesterday but thats way too late for me, and cke 1982 responded saying anytime youre on!!!! ,i will try and play my games when ive finished work for xms which will be either thurday or friday in the daytime which i presume will be thete evening,if anyone knows there login habits or if they read this can they please post and tag or sen me a message pls! and wd potlimit mate good result

cke 1982 came online today, im niot normally on at this time due to work,but werent at work due tobad weather, i messgaed him asking if he would like to play, at first he said what game, which is pretty obvious considering i had already told him, then when i told him, he thought he had already played it, then he thought he dint have to play it, anyway when he realised he ad to play it, he said he would play after his clan match, i hung about , told him when i did school run to which there no response, when i came back i once again pm ed him there were no reply, had a look what room he were in (8 ball arcade) i gave it a few minutes and pm ed a ? to which he responde with cke1982 logs out

I am going to post the remaining games that have not been played yet so people know, will also member tag them.

Unfortunately for me i am on weird playing times the now and the marksmith game may not be played as i had to come off early last night ( before his usual playing time ) and he is away for ten days now which is just unlucky to be fair. Should play game with Punk though maybe tonight or tomorrow night.

I apologise for this but unfortunately this event will need to be put on hold for the time being as Jay is unavailable. This is beyond our control and having to watch FBL and FCL, I am not prepared to watch this as well.

The deadline for this current fixture will have to roll over until Jay is back to resume control over this event.

Perhaps this is for the best as it is Christmas and many people will be busy.
