Spoonie, if the game between two players ends 3 - 3 then you play one game of straight to determine the winner. If the overall score with both teams is 12 - 12 then it just goes through as a 12 - 12 and a draw (If i decided to keep track of win/draw/losses)

Doubles Premier League is now underway!

Fixture set one games have now been released and are shown on the website. I have linked you to the page below though to save some time as i will not post them on the thread just yet.

I have also provided the link to the rules, the format also shows on the rules page to. Again i will say if a game does go to default then I WILL ONLY accept posts on the Doubles Premier League forum page and will make a default decision from that and that alone.

Once you have completed a game you must post it on the Result Page i have made for this event which is located in pool events forum to, link for that page is also provided.

All games in this league should be easy to play as i have tried to accept regular online players that i know usually get games done quickly and in time.

Have played cke1982 in the first half of our fixture. Have just sent a message to xxx asking him to let me know what times are good for him to play.

I like going by frames won, rather than points for wins, draws, and losses, I think it more accurately shows the best players.
I have one concern here though. If we're gonna have tie breaker frames, and someone wins 4-3, are you gonna give them 3, or 4 frames in their total frames won count?
I think it should be 3, why should they get a chance at another frame when someone who won their match without a tiebreaker didn't? My point is, if we're gonna go by frames won, I think we should make sure everyone plays the same amount of frames.

I agree, if we are going on frames won, why is there even a need for a tiebreaker? Surely there should be no problem with games ending as a tie?

They will get the four points as it is a frame tie breaker and it counts.

Then you could say people may try and cheat to get that extra point there but why do that as they can gain six points in the one game with the normal format.

You also have to take in to account that draws in some and most leagues are not unusual in a way, as you do have the game format for 9US and what not.

Zantet the link is correct, it is due to the site taking both the different pages as the same. I am online later on to do updates and i will need to change a word in the links so that it separates them and takes it as the actual page it needs to be.

I have no trouble removing the straight tie breaker and leaving it as 2 frames of main three as there has only been one draw anyway.

Ill remove it when i can get on the website later as this computer is slow but the other one is occupied right now.
