Getting ridiculous now, nearly every player you meet is a newbie. Not a problem? yes it is because you lose lots of points if you lose and gain 0.2 if you win. Very annoying playing a high rated player who has reset, but why reset, if you want to improve your stats win more not hide behind reset figs just so you can beat inferior players. Sorry, rant over.

So not one person can come up with a good reason for resetting stats? Didums, oh dear, not seen or used that word since i was three, how immature.

Maybe you get better, yet your stats show your crap, so some reset, so they stzrt fresh and keep a nice record going for however long...works at first sometimes..next thing u know ur stats are crap. Unless your a robot.

Even some of the best players on here have rest at times, is that for an ego boost also? No its not. There will come a time when you get so angry over losing a game or something that you will end up hitting the reset, then you will see this thread and go oh no.

Pal? You getting upset bluey, cant reset in here tho lol. And yes i am annoyed sometimes when i get beat, but i will never reset as they are my stats. As i said before, if your not happy with your stats then win more often. And i have witnessed high 700 players, who have reset, challenge, and play low 600 players at straight, and wipe the floor with them. If thats okay with you to get good stats then its a clear indication of the sort of person you are. But its not for me.

See now you have stated a game type for it, has always happened in straight, but have you ever thought that maybe they have been playing as a guest while having an account and just got better or maybe they have not played in months so they reset as their stats would mean nothing. Don't bring me into this i have not even reset my stats if you actually look close enough.

Although i frown upon people who reset (or deactivate and make a new account), at the end of the day its down to the individual as to whether they reset or not.



Despite the fact that i agree with you in some sense, I believe this statement is false. There is a newbie modification to stop resetters taking full points off you, but at the same time they gain full points to allow them to reach their 'actual ranking' quicker.

As a possible suggestion - the amount of games a player needs to play to lose their newbie tag could be increased.

Personally for me i would never reset, mainly because the more games i play, the chances are that i will end up with similar looking stats to now. Without the tournament wins I have achieved.
