Mike dont come on the league thread and start an argument over a post on your thread, keep it to your thread or offline message. Sick of constantly repeating myself until it sinks in to peoples heads.

Badger i have no reason to tell you who it was, lets just say there would have been 40+ defaults last season if it did not happen mate.

Regarding Individuals

There seems to be a distinct lack of enthusiasm when it comes to the individuals, many people sign up and over the course of a couple of weeks get bored.

I have tried the old way and letting people get on with it in their own time and I have also tried fixtures but the problem is still there.

Now I have no issue running the individuals at all, I enjoy it being the weirdo that I am, but I have been thinking recently and Jay has also said a few words on this matter, that perhaps it is time to call time on the individuals if players are not willing to commit to the games entirely.

We are not getting a true representation of who the actual winner should be if the players do not play everyone in their chosen game type.

Why not just weed out the individuals who make no effort to play and ban them from the following season. Hopefully it would then create groups of players who want to play.

But some people want to play, they are just thrown into situations like I was this week where I couldn't get onto game server. Due to not being at home for a week.

That is one week, you have 2 weeks for your fixtures and there is no reason not to let the runners know if you are having problems. The bottom line is half the people who have entered make no effort to play so they deserve to be removed to allow those who want to play to get on with it.

I do not want to see the individuals go at all so I will do what I can to keep it going.

It gets frustrating when I ask people to carefully consider whether or not they can commit to it and when they say they do and leave it means I have to re jig everything.

I am going to be sticking to the bans though, so anyone who has left mid season is banned next season and there are already about 5 or 6 people on this list.

If people feel like they aren't able to get a fixture done on time then they should speak to me as I have and will make allowances under certain circumstances.

Very frustraiting... maybe for future just allow 12 players of each type in, priority going to those who have shown enthusiasm and got the majority of games played. Make it top 8 go through to quarters.... and bottom 4 cant play that format next season. This would eventually result in having only the best 12 reliable players in)

yup maybe next season do a promotion and relegation. have a premiership and have a second division. the premiership will be full of willing participants while second division would be a tester which those who show effort would move up, players who lack effort in premiership move down to the second division.

I made the mistake before of entering (thinking i could complete games) then turns out i had too much on with snooker and other leagues which is why i didn't enter this time. Players Championship is just 1 fixture so i can cope with that

Interesting... yes I think I may consider splitting players into 2 tiers... I will need to sit and work that out in my wee brain first though

Due to myself getting married this weekend i will not be able to release fixtures on the sunday as per normal. I am reluctant to release the games after the deadline as that would mean i would have to add an extension onto the actual normal deadline which in return would mean i would have to re do the schedules to match all new dates. The games will be released this Friday and can be played straight away from release but you must remember that fixture set two still has till the sunday to be played.

Any team that signs a player between Friday and Sunday before midnight will be able to use that player in the fixture set three and the cup game if you have one.

When i return on monday i will update everything like i usually do. Any fixture set two games played after deadline on Sunday will not be counted and i will check time and dates to be sure no one tried to sneak in a result. If there is any defaults then i will ask for the information on the monday or the tuesday.

Ran by idiots, well done your constant posting to be allowed into a clan has paid off as you have entered the never will be in a clan league team for the foreseeable future. This is the second or third time you have been attacking me over something i don't even know i have done.

This is a league thread for league players and teams and since you belong to none of those things you should not be posting here, your post has been sent to admin and i hope a moderator will edit that to as you just insult people over a game.

I will take back the word idiot, as i didnt mean to offend you personally, so sorry for that. I just feel frustrated by the lack of spaces and teams available to join. As for me attacking you on a previous 2 or 3 occasions? The last thing i brought up on here was you taking me off the list for being on holiday for more than 15 days BEFORE i even put my name on? so just to reiterate, i went on holiday then on my return i put my name on the list, then you removed it. I didnt realise it ment ANY TIME either prior to asking to join a clan? or did you make a mistake? That is the only reason i felt a bit miffed toward you. as you posted after the fact that you was right by removing me. So now you show your muscle and prevent me from joining the clans?
