Does anyone else think it should not be allowed to say " gg " or " wp " before the game is over?

YES, unfortunately people do it and in my mind as a way to put you off. I feel if someone says gg then they have conceded therefore shouldn't continue.

but being serious, i think it should be said at the end out of respect but i don't mind it being said beforehand as when its said i take a few seconds to relax and take it out of my mind, and do my normal thing.

if you do what real players do when they hear a disturbance then your fine

lol not worth it for them (the evil empire) or us (the beacon of hope and fairness) to argue this again. Nothing new will be added to what has already been said on multiple threads and in hundreds of posts.

Keep your focus and don't let it get to you. Your opponent obviously feels threatened by the qualities you possess. Show em how it's done and finish em off

On a more serious note, I know it's annoying but remember that there are a few younger players on this site that currently don't have a level of maturity that is expected by some and some people are out to get a reaction like this...

Just have to bare in mind that this is used as a tactic by people who are crap at the game. Folk that don't feel that they are good enough to win a game without doing so.

As Dgen said if it does annoy you, take your time. If you have 4 balls left and its said. Use the 20 or whatever secs every shot. See who gets more annoyed, them or you!

yeah ive had many do this... it really puts you off and gets you frustrated.

I do what tokko said, i tend to take my time even more than normal and use as many seconds as i can or in some cases ill just play slow in the tournament to get a double DQ so neither of us win. Usually stops them doing it next time we get each other.

Lmaoo mich, seriously if you want this against the rules how do you plan on it being implemented? Report someone everytime it happens? Course, mods/admin would love that... It's an annoyance yes, but stop being such a girl and get over it :)

Nah seriously though, I have said wp when someone does a good shot and have said gg half way through a game as it has been a good game thus far. Especially in straight when my opponent hits a 30 ish and then I do, I class that as being a good game so I will say it.

Will not say good game in 9 ball arcade though as it isn't really a game more Russian roulette.
