But i agree, beating me doesnt take too much and it was only 10 - 5 lol
but you award it to a player who had a 6 - 0 win and a win over mooksterman i think.

Its not to be taken as a dig to anyone by the way, was just saying Seb had better results as did a few people if you know what i mean.

I can only speak for the snooker side of things. We theoretically have a "news" tab on the league website, but we don't update that since it's too much work. All we do is add all the end-of-season stats.

We've found that this is just a hell of a lot of work to maintain on a regular basis.
I like the ideas of "player of the week" and a weekly roundup of things. Good ideas that might keep people visiting your site.
Maybe in the results or teamsheets section you could include links to the appropriate league sites (the results page; the teams page)? On the snooker side, I update the site (tables and everything) every single time a result is posted- so unless you do the same, your info will be out of date.
But yeah, overall if it raises interest, I'm all for it.

I agree, would really like to see a 'newsletter' tab on the FCL website, would put my name forward for running and maintaining a fortnightly newsletter with player of the fortnight awards, interviews etc etc.. but if you do go ahead, get somebody you know will maintain it, because it could work out brilliant.

Jay has been getting numerous messages about a newsletter for the FCL recently so may be an idea. FCL have a news feed though but when there is no news to give then there is no point in it, it will be used for new rules and things like that
Stated the reason we wanted to be removed from this, i don't think powerfool can keep on top of three leagues with all the result updating, subs and swaps and all of this. All runners will tell you its not an easy job sometimes with just the one league but now you want to try and do three (not including FCL).

I agree after trying to update and maintain the results section and tables section of the FCL last season temporarily, it is hard work, the newsletter would take abour 3 - 4 hours for a good one every fortnight (if it was to be fortnightly) therefore requiring less work but would still need a good IT literate person with good engish skills too

As far as I am concerned feel free to use whatever you want after all nothing is copyrighted!!
I doubt more than a handful of people ever check the league websites anyway so if you want to copy or use any links thats fine with me.
Just one thing though - there is no such thing as the FSL

Fact of the matter is you have took more on that you can handle here, you have the three pool leagues on there and the snooker league. It takes a lot of effort to maintain one maybe two leagues at once but four?
You stated that it was mainly for results and overall results i am assuming anyway. That wouldnt be a problem but you have decided your going to take all the fixtures and the team lists.
Doesnt matter if your happy or not with the way it is, point is you should have had the guts and the respect to approach all the runners about this and on behalf of the FCL and Jay we dont want it on there. No negative posts just dont think you have done it the right way.

I like the idea of all the results being in the same place. Don't understand what difference it makes to league runners the info is included on this site. To say that he won't be able to maintain four leagues is premature. At least give him a chance to show he's able.
I reckon add the info back bud and show that you can make this a great site. If the info on the FCL site is better then this area will become obsolete and can be removed. If the info isn't updated on either site them its good to have somewhere else to refer to.

Very mixed responses, as for team of the week, hopefully we'll have a couple more staff soon, then it can be a more accurate result, I think zante did well this week, you may disagree, but bear with us..and hopefully this could be a success

don't mind any of snooker info used either as people should be checking the main site (which people rarely do), this is just an add on if you like of week to week clan going ons.

i see no reason why anything should be removed he is doing no harm to anyone. i say give him a chance to add all info from every league if he fails like some of u think he will then it wont matter anyway will it..

Player interviews - both before and after big games could be fun.
Reports on games played from anyone watching them.
An area for people to post any ideas on anything at all clan related ie ideas for new competitions or formats etc - where they can be read without being shot down or leading to arguments.
Up to date player form ratings (probably 100% subjective but fun and a potential talking point)
