Something similar was posted on snooker, and yeah i'm open for anything really... and well done

Do not mean to put a spanner in your works but you have effectively made the individual websites created for each league invalid as this website holds all the information that they want to see. This then makes all the effort I put into the websites pointless.

Having discussed this with Jay we have decided that we want you to remove the FCL part of this as we already have a website which holds all this information which we maintain.

This was already discussed on the FCL discussion thread and it was acknowledged that FCL didn't want to be a part of a collective website, some people also didnt think this would work.

Understandable, can you message me the EXACT things you wish to be removed? ;-/

I want to know that dgeneratio and whocares8x8 thinks of this as they are the snooker league runners.

I get the idea of a newsletter but I do not appreciate the undermining the effort I put into the FBL and FCL websites for them to be ignored for a collective website.

Would have been better to ask the runners before taking the information, as I did the FBL website, I wouldn't let you have FBL either but thats for the runners to decide.

Maintaining all the results, subs and team sheets will require a lot of work, I do not see you seeing this through for long.

That's stupid though cos id never be there every week

As far as I can see, the only part that I would understand you wanting gone, is the "Team" section, I am happy to remove it for you.

But as for the rest, I think I can keep?

We do not want you including anything FCL relating, this includes team sheets and results.

Whilst i see what you are trying to do, i believe you have gone about it the wrong way, you could have easily asked the FCL league staff to see if they wanted you to team up with them to produce a 'newsletter' which sole purpose was to inform the clans about the events of the week or fortnight.. this would have allowed you to do 'interviews' with player of the fortnight or week and also be able to use partial fcl league stuff. For example you was reviewing some of the results like you have used for zante, where you but he beat me and killmanjaro, you could have easily used this kind of information to make a credible newsletter and link it in with an interview..

good idea, could have gone about it in a much different way. wouldnt mind seeing a newsletter for the FCL, FBL & FSL.. but would need to be thought through much more and include permission from all the league runners.

Fact of the matter is you have took more on that you can handle here, you have the three pool leagues on there and the snooker league. It takes a lot of effort to maintain one maybe two leagues at once but four?

You stated that it was mainly for results and overall results i am assuming anyway. That wouldnt be a problem but you have decided your going to take all the fixtures and the team lists.

Doesnt matter if your happy or not with the way it is, point is you should have had the guts and the respect to approach all the runners about this and on behalf of the FCL and Jay we dont want it on there. No negative posts just dont think you have done it the right way.

Oh and also Zante player of the week? their was a 15 - 0 in a result and im sure whocares8x8 has been banging in results all over but you award it to a player who had a 6 - 0 win and a win over mooksterman i think.

As long as all FCL stuff is removed then that is fine thank you.

You may want to ask the FBL runners also as they may see this the same way.
