The qualifying mark has been about 50% in all recent seasons I think. We just had a very short season this time around.

I thought it used to be about the 70% mark to allow for players not playing all the games, 50% does sound a bit low.

Won't affect me anyway as my 2% offering won't count either way

I remember this because when we were discussing the mark on snooker last season, I did the math for pool as comparison and surprisingly found it to be around 50%.
When I did the math 7 months ago, it was 45.4% with the bar at 75 frames.

Since that time, we've raised it to 60% on snooker, which seems a bit better.

60 percent seems fairer...... would mean atleast 4 of the 6 games played...and wouldmake seb 3rd and me 4th....all agreed say aye!.......

True. The thinking might however be:
If you have 16 players in your team and give the games away fairly, then nobody will get to play 4 out of 6 games...

although in practice very few teams have 16 active players.
