I'm going to talk to Alan and Keith later i think as i have received a message or two saying this cup tie breaker rule is only been done this way as it is MVP that is involved and my position within this league helps that happen more.

In response to that message which i would rather apply here about - I in no way had any part in the decision for it to be done this way, it was mattywellie that brought it up, and as i have previously stated i don't want any part in it as it involves the team i play for.

if you want to put it like that then yes but matty has posted that Team Angry can have that same privilege so no biased going on here.

Im not accusing anyone of being biased, i just dont agree with rules being changed full stop!

If this was any other game and there was no players/subs available it would go to default..... not this time tho for some reason

Anyway ive spoke to Matty and hes confirmed the rules are being changed, Angries players will stay as they are meant to be as i think its wrong changing rules

That implies that the rules are just being changed for MVP though with what you said there. Ang im not looking to get into an argument with you or anyone else as i actually like you most of the time but over the past few days MVP and UT have clashed as well as their players so i don't see why anyone could say that mattywellie is being biased here (not saying that your saying that either as you have not mentioned it).

If this had happened to any other team in the same situation, then i would have a say in what we do and i personally think that the way mattywellie is doing it now is the good way. Their has never been a tie in the FBL cup since it has been around so the rule was put in by who ever put it in without thinking about a tie and if players would be away on holiday or what not.

thats during the fixture though, its not during the fixture yet, its basically like handing in a new teamlist just limited

anyways i had no conversation in this but i agree with what matty posted saying that i hate cup draws full stop but having even number of games it is inavoidable.

This tiebreaker was just poorly designed. Why should the players that have already played be forced to play again? Should be able to choose freely, since you have to send in a lineup anyway.

It's silly that a tiebreaker would go straight to default because players aren't available or in the clan anymore.

That's why it isn't going to default seb, they can choose on of the other 6 players that was in the fixture it's been in the rules for years but just never happened lol.

Actually the rules have always read as they do now (that one of the two players that played original game type plays the tie-breaker in that game type). That's why they need changing.

I know that who would of thought this scenario would of ever arose, I certainly didn't but I can see that it needs lookin at.

The rules stated only Jimmy and Man up were eligible yet they are now allowed to choose someone else

Like ive already said tho, ive spoke to Matty and he has assured me that in future, if i dont have a sub due to not being able to get online then we will be treated the same.... thats good enough for me

That rule was in place from season 2 so regardless of MVP being involved rules are rules and they stand by them end of.

they was poorly thought out, as people didn't think about outside things, only thought what went into it was "people will stay in their clans so we will do it like this".

If it was me i would change the format so draws is impossible and if a draw i would say individual winners but its near enough bound to be even so need another way for next season.

Players eligible are the ones that played in the games and completed them end of story.

Mind you a completely relevant thing that has not even been mentioned. Are subs allowed in the tie-break? If so it doesnt matter who you name to play the games?
