The difference will be a total of 12 frames out of the available 600 points this season. That's exactly 2% of points that is being argued about here.

I'm going to post what i think, truely think as a non league runner point of view. Yes it all got changed but that is what people wanted (the majority again) and now it has been changed all people want to do is fill pages and pages of nonsense and unneeded arguing.

For the other matter i am going to stick up for my team and this is why i won't and don't want to have a say in what other runners decide to do, but MVP done what everyone else was supposed to do they followed the rules and got their games played and now people basically want to punish them for that! If the rest of the games went to default then so be it, i don't mind doing 12 defaults or how ever many it is, gives me something to do when i can't sleep anyway or simply take all the information given and send it to Keith and he will do it

If captains cant make the effort to find the right information to give then they are not going to get much points in the defaults are they.

You're exactly right- it shouldn't be about the points, it should be about doing what is best to make the league run well this season.
Having a different standard for the completion bonus in one game than the rest makes absolutely no sense. So in this case, for the good of the league, the second games should be removed instead of doing a dozen killer defaults and dealing with the ensuing arguments.

I was accused yesterday of saying all this because I want to save us from a single 1-5 loss. As it turns out, I would also be losing out on a 6 point completion bonus as well as a sure 5 or 6 points from the other default. So can we at least agree that it's not in my interest to make the arguments I've been making all along from before the season?

I was going say remove the second game as well, mind you with all you people going on like monkeys over a banana ill just keep quite.

If 12 games of any the other game types go to default will the games be removed or go to default ?
If the answer is go to default then put the killer ones to default and change it to 1 in each fixture for the next set, yes clans gain free points but thats what happens with defaults.

Killer is different, its new, its untrialled, it asks a hell of a lot more from clans that normal games and defaults are a lot harder to determine.

A flawed comparison. Killer is unique in that it's a team game, which is causing the defaults in the second game. The other game types won't go to defaults because of the game type, but because of the people involved.

Are you trying to keep it at 2 games of killer or are you just trying to hang on to your points?

Its not classed as flawed and unfair when the other game types go to default so why with killer, it will be flawed and unfair if its changed, I've changed my tune abit, I don't want MVP pulling out, mainly because I don't want another clan winning the league and people saying to them you only won it because MVP pulled out or because MVP were deducted points because the format was changed after games were played.

Of course not, because there is no difference between the individual game types. Those defaults are due to the people involved.
In team killer, it is clear that the format of it is making getting the second games played very difficult. There is no difference in format between 8US, 9-Ball, 8UK, or Straight.

Really?? Come on, I've played in these leagues for 7 seasons now and run the snooker league for a year and a half. If I wanted to screw other teams over, I would be rampant over there, but I've never been accused of any such thing.

As I said countless times before, I argued that this sort of change could easily be made in the middle of the season, because it has only very minor consequences. If we get our second game with Shooters played today and win it 6-0, I'll still be in favor of removing the second games, because it makes logical sense for the league.

You've all agreed that killer should be brought down to 1 game, yet you're trying to get the runners to implement different standards for completion bonus in different fixtures. I'm sure you can see how this can not be done?

We will try to beat anyone who is paired against us- whether you want to play in it or not is your choice. But MVP have no legitimate claim to being a better side if they threaten to pull out every time things don't go their way.

But again, this should have nothing to do with the clans involved. Latin Legends would be getting a disadvantage as well, but you don't hear them moaning about it.

how about 1 game of 4 v 4

It has been decided that killer will be reduced to one game per fixture from fixture set one. The updates have been done to replicate this. If you look at the scores on the website then you will see this has been done - we looked at the results thread after deciding that all second games that had been played would be void against a clan and that your first killer game played would be used and kept.

We thought this would be the fairest way to do things, the rest of the killer games that have not been played will go to default as normal with the normal game type ones.
