Hasn't stopped folk in the past think you will get your way as the new clans would want 1 division. Personally I see it as thats how it is us mice have worked hard to (hopefully) get promoted and just like give clans a free pass doesn't seem fair.
Though if it is one division we will still play

I like the idea of 1 league where everyone plays each other once.

But maybe we need to look into the scoring format as if we have teams winning by huge margins maybe the overall frame points is not the best format.

Each game is best of 5 at US8, US9 and UK8.

Why not give 2 points for winning each format.

Example Player A v Player B

Player A 3 - 2 Player B @ US8 = 2 points to player A
Player A 2 - 3 Player B @ US8 = 2 points to player B
Player A 3 - 0 Player B @ US8 = 2 points to player A

Overall Score = 4 - 2 Player A

Only 48 points to play for in a complete fixture.

Then just keep the win bonus points for winning the overall game between the 2 clans (might need to tweak the amount of points for a win)

This would stop scores of 13-2, 14-1, 15-0 and a player who loses 8 US can start again for US9 etc so has always got something to play for.

tbh i vote for 1 league with the amount of clans folding and new clans running.....even if its just for 1 season, to establish the correct divisional placement for season after next should there be none or minimal folds.

Wouldnt mind a few extra fixtures too....do it like the scottish premier.......

12 teams....play each team once......(11 games) then top six split (5 games) for a total of 16 games......8 fixture sets!

Would make the end of the season emmense!

If you have one division and say Snooker Squad are at top by a few points and they play a clan that as got a few of there mates in it from snooker they wont try and get as many points from Snooker Squad because they no there is no relegation therefore handing the title to Snooker Squad.

On the other hand if Snooker Squad play the that as got a few of there mates in the clan they would have to try as they would want to avoid relgation.

So for me its gotta be 2 divisions to stop clans helping a team win it because they hate the team just behind the top team.

I offered the split option last season but it was deemed to make season too long.

If we do change to one league it would need to be a format we stuck with as we are always going to have teams folding, changing etc at least with one league it stops unbalanced leagues.

And for division 2 teams that were due to be promoted, i fully understand your comments, but would you like to play just 3 teams all season?

This wouldn't matter as if you are the best team and beat everyone including snooker squad you will win the league regardless of any friends that tried to help them which i really do not think would ever happen anyway.

As co captain of a new clan I want one division BUT I can understand that two divisions is fairer to clans who have worked hard and would be nice to work our way to the top

The number of clans folding is making 2 divisions practically impossible to keep going as leagues are changing so much between seasons.

Even if you win all your fixtures you aint garanteed to win the league tho, as a team could win a team by a few points every set and another team could lose a game or 2 but with a few BIG wins they are back in contention to win the league.

Im pretty sure this happened with MVP n UT before UT folded.

I understand that I'm just saying that in interest of fairness it should be two but hey one division is good for me jug means it will be a closer season.

To be fair though Matty, Uprising, Mousketeers nor Legend Killers deserve to go up. Only Untouchables did, and they folded. From a personal point of view, I only ever saw my team going up as default - and I hate defaults in any context!!!

2 divisions my vote is

1 division would just mean every season all the clans folding and a new super clan winning.
What rewards are there for the teams that keep working hard to keep getting players in?
Of course the new teams want to change all the rules so they can get straight into the first division so your vote thing is totally lame keith!
Why should we end up in the same division as a team that folded last season after we battled through last season to stay in the 1st.
Total joke and there is absolutely no reason to change because the divisions split up perfectly going by the same rules as always.
