I want to discuss whether league runners can look into rule section 7 - "partially played games" - i think there should be a rule where clan captains can agree to replay a game or sub someone in to play remaining frames should a clan member get banned. Doesn't happen often but maybe a bit harsh penalising a clan for someone getting themselves banned? Just a thought

Once a game is started between two players, no substitution may be made. An exception is allowed when a player is banned, removed from a clan, or leaves a clan. In this case, the game may be abandoned and restarted at 0-0 with a sub for the player in question. Both captains must agree to this.

At defaults this will favour the team who hasn't had to sub due to this as from beginning of fixture until this rule comes into it is considered offline time

yeh i think we should have something like that, my crazy eights had a game go default for a player getting banned, we could have salvaged that game with a sub but its against the rules. i think in circumstances like a player being banned there should be a way to allow a clan to finish/complete that game.

Thing is Rick is that he does reply in a nice manner and then instead of people accepting what he says, they go on and on and on. Surely you can understand why he may get frustrated?

It all depends on how far the game is, if the game is 5 frames old then maybe but if the game as gone more than 10 frames i dont think the other player would want to start the match from 0-0

It makes sense, because one idiot can derail an entire fixture by getting banned.
When we added it on snooker, I found it very important that this was only in cases of deactivation/banning or a player being kicked out/quitting a clan.
This shouldn't be something that's used if some player just doesn't log in near the deadline after starting the game earlier.

That's why both captains have to agree with it.

If one captain agrees another other don't what score do you go from then?

Really dont understand cree to be honest, everyone here seems to have given you the utmost respect for the job you have done diving in at assassins in crap circumstances yet you come on here constantly throwing garbage at jay for no reason?!
Seem to have missed that under any of the past league runners or the rules you would have never been allowed to take over assassins...jay has been very lenient because he wouldnt want to see a clan fold mid-season yet all he has had is grief...really not following

If one captain doesn't agree, nothing happens. If the player in question doesn't return, the game just goes to defaults.

Thats the kind of restrictions i was thinking Seb, if it was accepted by runners. Not the clans fault that some person goes and gets themselves banned.

I think it should definitely be used for banned/deactivated players, also players who leave clans altogether. Any player leaving for another clan should have to finish a fixture before moving. I do not think it should include a captain asking a player to leave as that is the captains fault
