What players Ant? If you mean Beth and Jess then it is because i gave them a season ban, Jess has said she will not do it again so i have gave the benefit of the doubt. If it happens again then a lifetime ban will be handed out to one/both of them.

I have already said that i will not give out a warning or anything to people posting on others clan threads when asked not to. That kind of power is the one that admins and moderators have and can enforce.

this rule about promotion and relegation is covered easily on FBL league website under rules, please read its alot simpler and is easily implemented

if implemented into FCL rules it might help disolve this topic also it makes alot of sense

as FCL hasnt had it in writing before, it may just stop the its the way its always been, have it in writing solves problems and is easily understood... maybe its not for the FCL but might help, only a suggestion

some rules don't need to go on the website though, consider it an unofficial rule (unless Jay wants to do it) but putting a rule on site should make it 100% concrete where as an unofficial rule you have different options

But if all rules are clear on website, they can't be twisted to suit certain situations, not suggesting that has or ever would happen...

just saying some things don't need to go on the website as runners are very limited on what options they have, but putting the rule on the site will put most people at ease as they know it should then be followed with no exceptions

11.5 Relegation/Promotion
Relegation : The bottom two teams in division 1 will be relegated to division 2 automatically, the league runners in a case where there is insufficient existing teams may alter this format. In any event the team finishing bottom will be relegated, as stated below.
Promotion : The top two teams from division 2 will automatically be promoted to division 1 , however the league reserves the right, if the team in either first or second place folds, there will be no promotion spot for that team into division 1.
If both division 2 teams fold , then the team in third place in division 2 will be promoted and the team finishing bottom in division 1 will be relegated in the event of the third place team folding the exercise will be followed down to the fourth, fifth and sixth team. In any event the team finishing bottom place in division 1 will be relegated, the only exception to this is if all division 2 teams are new, again only if the numbers are not correct within the league format. ie only four existing teams in division 1 remain, and division 1 needs to be brought up to strength. Any decisions be upto the league runners discretion, and will be final.

craig they was no team in division one that folded this year so they only 2 teams left in division 2 so both teams should been promoted

Aren't these conflicting statements?
The first one says that the league can decide that there's no promotion if a team that would be promoted folds.
The second one says that if the promotion team folds, the third place (and so on) get promoted.

in the perfect world and all teams succeed its 2 up 2 down

if a promoted team from div 2 folds
only the team finishing either 1st or 2nd will be promoted
as in one team only
and one div 1 team will be relagated

if both div 2 promoted teams fold
only 1 div 1 team will be relageted
and the 3 rd place div 2 team promoted or so on

in the evnt div one needs building up or div 2 is all new teams
the league reserves the right to change things ie common sense will previal

I think the best way would be that if a promoted team folds, the next team automatically moves in.

The only reason Vipers won't be promoted is that they don't want it, which is their choice. There's nothing we can do about that- we can't force them to play div 1. They'll just fold, so div 2 is appropriate.

Stick something in the rules!!
