Me neither it should be same as last season which was 2 points for a win. Only when tied on points should the amount of frames won come into it.

Not sure why they changed it back to this. Was changed from this for the reason you mention there.
I would have if 2 players are tied on points it should go down to the result between that 2 players rather than frame difference as well.

I don't either, I have not lost a game yet but pointless playing the rest as I can't win the league from this position!
