I think if you are going to do it, it needs to be 2 games of different players and the overall winner's clan needs to walk away with the most points. It needs to be fair and give all players a chance to win/get a game

I personally couldn't give a toss if minigolf was included and made mandatory. It's such a minor issue. The killer issue has produced so many negative posts from so few people, that it's made Sarah's position untenable, and that is a travesty. Don't really know Craig, but it seems many peoples personal dislike of the guy has influenced their opinion on the killer matter.

For the record, as a new captain, Sarah was really helpful to me, and she'll be a big loss to the FBL.

Stu, I don't think anyone had an issue with Sarah, I think she was a fantastic runner, it was Craig that most people had a problem with.

I did think that a possible way forward for that was that teams get players interested to post their times they can be on, it's mostly gonna be peak times anyway then say on your opponents thread '8pm wednesday for a killer game?'
If one player isn't on from a team there will be subs online anyway.

Only thing I can see as another issue is getting an agreed start time so people aren't in tourneys but really shouldn't be too difficult

Sorry but there were a lot of genuine points about the way it would affect the format as it was planned that people gave, could have been talked through or at least explained but instead got ignored totally, snidey remarks or told
'if you don't like it don't play in the league'
'nothing is up for discussion'
'don't question the league runners or you might get banned'

Sarah and craig put in a lot of work, no question but they didn't create FBL and just didn't like not being able to turn it into a dictatorship.

They can also deactivate dramatically and blame that on the haters but Craig has given every league runner an infinite amount more grief than he was receiving over this issue and said himself it is part of the territory.

You know the thing is Sarah did a grey job and nobody can take that way from her and I promise you now that of they are not back me and the people I have elected alongside me will also do a fantastic job in maintaining the fbl as a fantastic league.

Couldn't disagree more, it's a fairly major issue as its potentially something around 20 more games per clan so it needs to be sorted ASAP. Negative posts about a potential idea doesn't make a runner's post untenable, especially considering the opposing positive posts. You're basically saying if you don't like a league runners idea, keep it to yourself - it's a discussion thread, don't have it if you can't deal with it.

As for people's opinions on Craig influencing their opinion in killer? That's just silly to suggest as well, I can see several people well known for not getting on with Craig posting positive responses (myself for one). People are perfectly capable of putting personal things aside to give an honest opinion

Sarah will be a big loss to FBL, but it will come out just as strong

As for killer, maybe a limit can help avoid re-using all the best players. (e.g. Only one player can play in both another format and the killer game)

Decision over killer needs to be made ASAP and maybe aim to make it easier this season to get people used to it (2 vs 2)

The general feeling I get is most people like the idea just want the little things sorted really.

Never got the opportunity to raise my opinions of the killer as was too busy with other issues, however i think it's been rushed into play and is something which should be introduced next season, in order to ensure that it is properly prepared with a good structure. There isn't any point rushing this into play if it's just going to collapse mid-season. Better safe than pregnant my old man said!

We agree on a lot of things Jem, but something you need to take into account is as a captain you should take your players into account Let your players make their own minds up before you decide for them

There was no chance given to me when i deactivated and i made it clear i was going to reactivate. I deactivated so i could forget about my bad form for a day. I still updated everything even before i rectivated.

Do you think people are going to play in the seperate killer league though?

Craigs mistake was trying to do killer in both formats which doesn't work whereas one format should work

A trial basis in a seperate league format would work well i think
