Never liked the idea of killer being added to the actual league as alot just don't play it...If it was seperate as craig was making out originally it would prob be accepted but as a long term structure no i say....Seperate killer league for clans that wish to participate and has no bearing on the the normal past fbl is the way to do it first.

6 man games then teams would be happy to play with 3 strong players online and it would be fun
4 man games teams wait till they have their best 2 online and hassle the other teams then avoid the game when they aren't online.

I dont think 4 man is a terrible sea but I think for a four man it would be better in a seperate league therefore almost have it as a doubles tournament. I personally think 6 man is the way to go simple as its a team game and is fairer to all clans participating as most that played 6 man have enjoyed it immensely more than the 4 man also.

np matty just seems pointless to ask for a list if anyone can play anyway.

6 man is defo way forward as i said before 2 man is very easy to play but no fun whatsoever.

were trialing it too but you just need 3 of your team on at same time and from 16 players it shouldn't be an issue and its more fun.

but for those who don't want to play they can focus on normal games but what if you have 10 people wanting to play killer 6 people will be let down.

It will cause arguments and at worse clans withdrawing tbh.

Not the six man that is feasible But again getting all players on at that time...some clan members don't get along even if they are in the same clan "a quote from matty" so once again arranging the game is going to be hard.

i don't think the trials caused a problem to be honest.

people mention separate killer league (if snooker trials are successful we may be doing this) but moaned because of too many leagues.

in my view the separate killer league is better as clans can willingly enter so those teams who dislike killer can say no but we still are in main league, in the league teams are forced into playing even if they may not like killer and it would be the same as in the league but your not pressurised into joining

From the format you've given us to send our team lists in, you've said to only name 2 players for killer (but there are 2 killer games). So it's more than likely that most of the time the games will be played back to back. How would this end up during a default if one of the teams isn't happy and decides not to play the second game and the game is not played?

True, they haven't mentioned how defaults will be worked out.

What happened to listening to views on scoring systems. Those that posted pointed out that the team with the winning player should win the most points whereas the scoring, as announced, has ignored that.

for me it HAS to be either in the league or separate league NOT both so if you did separate league then it doesn't appear in the main league

if its in the main league then it doesn't appear as a separate league

this way its the same either way and not extra games, i still prefer the separate 3 x 3 league though

With the killer being even more successful with the overall majority of the players than first thought, it was decided to be brought into the league, i appreciate that some players don't want to play it , and that is their choice and i respect that.
Players that took part in the trial seemed to have genuinely enjoyed the games, and working as a team in the games that have been played.
With it being introduced this season, i thought a 2x2 would be easier for teams to organise, the players submitted in with the teamlist do not have to be the players that play the game,but if the game doesn't get played it will be those players that will be in the default.
I totally understand that some players may not be happy with the changes, and wish to pull out, i will remove them from the teamlists if they wish , i apologise that i cant keep everyone happy, but there has been a lot of work put into this , and i hope that although it is a change, it will hopefully be one that people will enjoy , with working together as a team .If it doesnt work this season, then it will be removed for the following, but i believe it needs to be given a chance, and maybe even the minority who are against it might even enjoy the fact that their team is working together as a team and having fun

May I suggest alternate starting times with the FCL so that fixtures don't come out and end at the same time?
That way, you can always focus on one league near the deadline. (like last season)

yeah its not fun if each league has same deadline otherwise you may have 4+ games for 2nd week instead of 1 or 2

we will look at doing this, depending on how the qualifiers go (regarding neccessary defaults, if any) Whether we start a week earlier, or a week later, we are happy to release fixtures in alternate weeks to FCL so there isnt a mass amount of fixtures released , or deadlines for games to be played in the same night ,
