Both reasons for default scores were explained to the teams in question

yeah im just saying to rick in some defaults both teams send in a lot of information so its not always down to that why you lose that default, its usually a sentence of some kind in the information itself

well iv been on the default panel for both leagues this year and i think iv judged that fair on both leagues
so now it time for me to call it a day on funkypool
some people think they can always do the job better the others
iv be on here years i never seen so many people cry over a default
if you on the default panel you look at everything in front of you and as iv be on here such a long time knowing most people to and i think i give out fair results

i haven't either tbh but thats probably because im a snooker runner and its more peaceful, over there we just have about 7 guys doing defaults (even our own just not in your name is in the game) and weve hardly had complaints.

pool has div 1 doing div 2 and div 2 doing div 1 and get complaints.

i no most players on here who ever the captain is of they team
always tells his or hers players make sure you message your players also please keep your message
ask every player iv captain i always tell them this and iv captain most players on here

but how come everytime i bring snooker up people come out with negative posts? (badgers is banter so hes free ), if i brought FCL up would you say same thing? i doubt it so don't post negative stuff if its purely because its snooker.

reason i posted is because pool has a lot of arguments and people in your division can't see the default where as ours we do it even on our own team and we may get a complaint around 5% of the time which isn't a lot whereas pool is almost 50% each season probably.

I don't disagree with that post at all James I personally can't think of a reason apart from the people on snooker although competitive I feel have more respect for one another.

That could be taken as you think FCL or the FBL runners are not doing a good job though saying that.

If you think about it timeline goes like this.

FCL > Snooker Clan League > FBL

so without FCL none of the 2 leagues would be here today as i got ideas from a pool league, and FBL originated from my league so in future another league could originate from FBL and so on

You can't base a league on its running system by people because of less arguing or more arguing.

It is not a runners fault that arguing is going on (in some cases it is not anyway), you could have the best runner ever on pool and there would still be arguments as the clan league is much more successful and larger than snooker.

the real problem in pool is simple, its a virtual game,
in real life with real life problems like feeding and clothing and putting a roof over your family and providing for their welfare. thats important, when you read why people fall out on a virtual pool site, they really do need to get grip,
he said they said she said. to be honest who really cares,?? you can cater for many people and keep them happy but like real life,, people no matter what you do for them,, they will always enjoy picking fault,, its called life

but when reading many posts, even my own under an old username i look and i feel ashamed, we argue or discuss whether the tooth paste tube was squezzed from the middle or the end, to be honest who really cares.

id like to think ive learned a lesson or 2, we bleat on about what, i ask about what, will these questions discussions shape my life, not a chance.

if a virtual pool site is so important to my life and i feel the need to upset and show no consideration for other peoples feelings, then i need to look at myself and many others do to

what i would say is people become ill, children are born, some people fade away, this is important

well i think jay has more than improved the FCL since james tenure and sarah has improved FBL since dextr ran it

maybe they should both go into snooker and run it all properly just a little joke with myself

but what i will add people who give up their time for others, should be appreciated, afterall they dont get paid and with a little more consideration for others everything would run a lot better

competitive sport will always have an edge, but people need to realise it isnt win at all costs, win yes but win the right way

i think everyone should just step back, and play the game the way it was ment to be, having a laugh nd a giggle wanting to win, but not at any cost,,, thats the problem winning has become more important than enjoyment,,
