there has been a record low defaults this season nearly 50% down from the previous season
and with crazy8s folding and assassins with only 3 days of the season to go wasnt great but that also will reduce the defaults
however teams folding isnt great
could this not lead to more defaults with 14 clan players involved in each fixture ?

As explained before, teams do not have to play, and will not lose points by not playing, although they will gain points by winning. The whole point of introducing killer into the FBL is to bring some fun to the league, and also lets players work together as a team in a game.
I have no interest in playing killer as part of FBL, i have posted on mvp thread to see the rest of the teams thoughts. Depending on feedback will depend if we play in FBL or not.

only flaw i see with this is that you say you don't lose points but if you gain points then your losing the chance to gain some points.
is there a separate table for killer or will it be added to the main table?

Evening the playing field so it isn't all about who has the best straight players is the biggest plus in my opinion. One of the very few things I dont like about the format is when you have such a specialist game as straight in there it's a 12 point head start in a lot of games for teams this should change that and yeah should be some great banter

there has been a lot of talk in the past about a doubles match, this has got to be the ultimate team game
its forward thinking we just need ppl playing and have more oppinions ,, as ive said the clock is an issue, id say 10 secs, but hey its open to discuss
the clock shouldnt be to much of an issue, because its a team game
i know ppl will want longer, but we need games playing then we can decide

8.0 DEFAULTS
1). 8.5 Most important factor
Defaults are largely based on how much each player and captain has contributed towards getting their game played.
2) 8.9.2 Logins
Logins on player profiles will be just as important.
3) 8.9.3 Messaging
A player having messaged their opponent to arrange a time to play counts favourably for that player, and the message/s should be sent to the league.
4) 8.9.4 Failure to respond
Failure to respond to a message (particularly if having logged in in the meantime) goes against the receiving player.
5) 8.9.6 Timing of substitutions
While using the option of a substitution is positive, doing it very close to the fixture deadline is not, since this leaves little or no time for the opposing player to arrange a time to play.
I wonder if these rules were followed

1) I never once say lethal_lures(who is the shooters captain) post on either thread about subbing or not subbing mdj out at all and also mdj was offline like 3-4 days at the start, logged in once and was offline the rest of the fixture so it was pretty hard getting intouch with him. While we posted on there thread that mdj was offline.
2) If this is true mdj was offline like 3-4 days at the start, logged in once and was offline the rest of the fixture
3) We will never know what messages were sent as mdj offline like 3-4 days at the start, logged in once and was offline the rest of the fixture

This season it is a concern IF default panel aint goin on those points ive pointed out then there seriously needs to be a shake up on that front ant.

I think this killer thing should have a seperate table to other games - if it's being trialled as part of the season it shouldn't be counted towards overall points
if teams don't like it and it's being forced on them then they might leave the FBL - like MVP - it would not be fair to teams who do not want killer to lose out on obtaining points during the season because this is being trialled alongside the normal FBL format - just my opinion

I don't like straight and only one member of my team likes straight pixie (thank crunchie for scott!!)
Pretty sure if you counted up the amount of clan league members that play killer compared to straight then killer would win easily therefore killer being included is totally justified.
Have to remember MVP's standpoint is based on the fact they have a large percentage of players that are seen less often than nessie!
(sorry MVP first dig in ages gotta let me have that one lol )

I love the idea but the problem is with it is if teams don't wna play ten yes they are losing the hands to gain points, I personally think fbl should run two leagues side by side kinda like individuals in fbl but make it killer (doubles) in fbl I think that would be the fairest and best way to have it.

I have to agree actually, as it is a trial then it should not really count towards overall score.
Im really interested in playing in it for MVP if they decide to take part of course, just think as it is a trial maybe it should be a non point awarding thing for the trial season.
