To try and cut down defaults more why don't the FCL do what the FBL does and as soon as a players account turns one month old they can be subbed in to play?

Example

Fixtures start 1st of april but therev account aint a month old until the 7th april but as soon as the 7th april comes along he can be subbed into the fixtures, the player as got to be signed before the fixtures are released tho

works quite well and it means everyone waits the same amount of time instead of someone possibly waiting 2 weeks more

I like this idea too,i know i had to wait at the start of this season,but bluenose was honest and nice about telling me i had to wait as THAT at the time was the rules but I for one would vote for the above rule if it was granted.

Was discussed during the break and knocked back. The one month rule is their as the majority that it affects is previous deactivated / banned users who can cause default problems. If they have to wait an extra few days due to a fixture set maybe they will think twice before doing it again.

This rule used to be two months and was relaxed back to one month by changing this rule you would relax it even further. I for one would have it back to two months tomorrow.

If you have 15 players at start of fixture to pick from, why should a 16h player become active and allowed to play 12 days into a fixture. Hardly fair on the rest of the players who had accounts a month old at start of the fixture set.

like bluenose pointed out with a player only days ago that he deactivated his name but had to prove who he was

that is down to him i think players like that should wait 2 months before joining back in clans

i think its silly people deactivated they names when the season only just kick of i think any player does that should wait for the 2 months

who does the cup draw this looks a bit funny to me i must say

Cup draw was done out of a hat as it was the only way to do it at the time. Even then going by your offline messages your problem is not the actual draw itself but the fact you have Shooters in the cup and the league and four players are playing the same four players in league game and the cup game.

Below is an example of how the fixtures are done and always have been done, you will notice Rick that i have put it into league game format instead of the original cup one i sent you, based on the fact that it may be easier to understand.

When your list is sent in, it is put in order of what you sent and same with the opponents list. For example if you sent me a league team of 8 players in the below order.

TPA:

Player A
Player C
Player B
Player E
Player D
Player F
Player G
Player H

and then your opponent sent in there list in the below order.

Shooters:

Player A
Player B
Player C
Player D
Player E
Player G
Player F
Player H

Then the fixture would look like this (below)

TPA v Shooters

Player A v Player A
Player C v Player B
Player B v Player C
Player E v Player D
Player D v Player E
Player F v Player G
Player G v Player F
Player H v Player H

The order doesn't change, and as other teams dont know who the other team has picked for their team it is really hard to fix the game if you wanted to. That is why i never let another team see the other team lists.

So now you see how the actual games are done everytime new fixtures are due to come out.

Your problem is for how ever many sets you have sent in the same list over and over again in the exact same order (or close to) so of course your team would be pretty much the same, Shooters list is usually similar to their last one to so there was bound to be same players playing the same players again in the league games and in the cup games.

To avoid this happening many teams use the same players but they have them in a different order every single time a new set is due to be released. That is why you only see a few players playing the same players again, it is basically like roulette in a way as you don't actually know who you will face because you can't see the other team sheet and many people wouldn't tell you their list anyway.

This is the way it has been done for countless seasons in the FCL, even though you said to me in offline message that the FBL does it all differently. Well last time i checked the FBL does the exact same thing with the order of the players on the list and at no point do they change it (unless an error is made without it being seen)

I don't see why a change would make it any easier to be fair.
