Lee, I ended up redoing the schedules completely as from yesterday (with the except of fixture 1) when we had to match up the "bye" games, we ended up with duplicate games. when i took the double/triple games out, it ended up shortening the league to 4 fixtures which is why we are asking about increasing the length of the league.

Yeah that's fine jem as I said I like the idea of playing each other 3 times as most people will only get to play in half the games anyway 6 games is better than 4

i dont like playing each team 3 or 4 times tbh with ya prefer 2 times as most leagues are (expect scottish to my knowing)
instead of having playing teams 3 or four times why dont ya just have a week dedicated to just the cup fixtures so teams can have a week off the demands of playin in the league?

Cup games are also on a fortnight deadline, even doing that would make the league go on for two weeks more. Still very short league in my opinion.

i think you play the league as normal 2 times
with the amounty of clan games in FBL and FCL superleague
and clan singles there is enough games getting played
please stick to the formatt that has served this league well for many seasons ... play twice

well have a 2 week break for cup games instead of having one week break surely that will prolong the league that bit more?
Cup games are also on a fortnight deadline, even doing that would make the league go on for two weeks more. Still very short league in my opinion.

You mentioned the scottish leagues there dan and precisely the reason they play each other more times is because of the small number of teams in them, same as for this.
What about the teams that aren't in the cup anymore? Twiddling thumbs? Squads are more than ample, the cups have never had specific weeks and there is no need to add them now. Just means that you can give a third of your clan 2 games in a fortnight instead of one...good stuff

People didnt like the idea of only getting 1 game per fixture last night when byes were in the schedule, i doubt people are going to want to wait 2 weeks with no games what so ever.

I see where you are coming from but at the same time those are totally different leagues and without this extension on games the league will be over so quickly, with another one being ready to be started not long after that.
I remember when i first joined clans that the seasons usually lasted just over 3 months, granted there was more teams there and im sure the division where also even but i don't see the harm in an extra 4 games you would have to play in total. If anything it would make the league a bit more exciting.
Going by the majority like i said we would do it is looking to be changed, this may not carry onto next season though if enough teams make it into the league. Im not sure if it would have changed anything if Underdogs were allowed access into the league as i think we would be under a more complicated schedule.

Players want games not rest time, you don't get fatigued or achilles injuries playing funky. 4 games isn't much for a player in a season 6 is better, it gets FCL and FBL back to finishing roughly together again by playing each other 3 times which stops all the naming problems and transfer window differences too.

To add to that if they both finish pretty much around the same time then maybe it could be sorted out for them to start at the same time and then end at the same time, give or take a fixture set for the FBL as they do have some clans that play FBL only, well one that i know off Fighting Eagles and they also have Underdogs just now to.

just to add...
FBL scheduled to finish 20th May
with fixture increases we would end season 16 on 27th May
a weeks difference is much better than waiting an entire month for FBL to finish IF people are wanting both leagues to run side by side.

Totally agree with Craig, stick to playing twice, I saw a post a few pages back where Jay mentioned the word boring, well if clans are to play each other 3 or more times its going to get very boring and I can see players losing interest.
