When your playing a team they could send out their best players in that game against you even if they have another game to play though.

I don't see the problem it was the easiest way for us to do it at the time, everyone still will play the same amount of fixtures at the end of the season.

As of fixture set two the clan cup will start so teams who have a bye in the second set will have a cup match and one league game to play anyway, so there is still a game to be played while you have a bye.

why are we having byes? if you want to prolong the season why not get us to play eachother 3 times or something.. dont give byes

Because there in uneven numbers and WE thought that doing it this way was easier, everything still works out the same in the long run so i don't see what the massive deal is now. It won't be changed i have already asked for team lists to be sent in.

if byes was needd then i agree but they not and with 16 players all desprate to player going to make it hard for captains and keep p0layers happy

i dont think byes are the right way to go about things.. they can obviously be avoided, there are other ways to prolong the season

It was the easiest way for us at the time, that is why it is done like that, i'll say again it does not make a difference to how many games you get in the season.

FBL had a bunch of bye's last season, never seen anyone complain about that and the FBL still finished on time and each team played the same amount of games.

If there are no need to have byes then why have them?

I just don't think that you realised it could be done as you kept saying because of the uneven numbers and now you are just digging your heels in rather than do it properly.
Teams that don't have a bye in the 2nd set will have a cup game too and teams that have a bye in the cup won't have another fixture so that's absolutely nothing to do with anything.

There are very even numbers each team plays 8 games in a season 2 games in a set=4 sets of 2 not an odd number in sight!!

fcl is meant to be the prmier league so all players want games

There is 10 teams in the league, so that makes it 10 in the cup. Dont know where your getting a bye in the cup though as there is not one there =/

FBL finished a month after FCL jay i don't know if the fixtures could have been done better there but that makes no difference as to whether they can here.

Oh stop complaining you lot. A bye is not going to hurt you and there are 2 other leagues to keep you occupied, so no such thing as itchy feet.

In terms of keeping track of all the games and updating things, it makes things easier on me updating tables for them to be left in.

It is done properly and the way it was done was how we seen fit to do them, sorry we don't all have a brain like yours to think of other ways, it is done now and can not be changed the whole schedule has been worked out for the league and the cup and teams have been asked for. It is a bye so what? It does not affect anything in the season at all.

10 teams in the cup needs to become 8 to fit into a cup format so

2 games to get 2 eliminated leaving 6 byes in the first round
