People talk about the ease of arranging 2 games of 2v2 killer but not in our experience because both sides want to wait for their best pairings and that's 4 games for captains to arrange with a lot of false starts.
1 game of 3v3 where you can play 2 consecutive frames with the same people would be much easier ti get done and a lot more fun and actually feel like a team game!

At present the plan for Killer (should Super League continue) would be to have two games of Killer. Each game would be worth 6 points (4 for 1st and 2 for 2nd). Clans can mutually agree to have any number of players on each side up to a maximum of 7. Where teams cannot mutually agree then each side can field a maximum of three players.

Any one player can play in both Killer games - so in theory also allowing for back to back games to be played by the same players - which should make it easier to arrange.

By only scoring the top 2 places it should also remove any incentive for teams to not mutually agree player numbers on either side for fear of the opposition taking all the points scoring positions through having more players available.

It also gives a clan potentially a second opportunity should the first game be lost or adversely decided by the random player order.

It had also already been decided to increase the TPC games from 9 racks to 12 racks for the same reasons given by beenjammin above.

If the Super League does not proceed through lack of numbers then the TPC will transfer over to the FCL so will continue no matter what.

Killer should recognize the difference between placing 3rd and 4th, like it used to, and in the case of a 6man, the difference between 3rd and 6th.......and noone who wants to win is gonna play a killer game with unequal numbers anyway

They may have no choice if they want to avoid a default score.

Yes - if you can just confirm what the first F stands for in your second team?

Reason that killer fits fbl better is you would need 3 players out of 16 wheras in super league it's 3 out of 8 as everyone puts in 2 teams.
Nothing makes much sense that is happening in these leagues tbh.

Where does the three come into it other than as a maximum number that can be fielded IF a game is to be started BUT clans cannot mutually agree how many players each side can have up to the maximum seven?

A mutually agreed number up to 7 would include 1 then wouldn't it? Would that require a league runner to be the third player just to set the game up?

It would if it was 1 v 1 - although anybody acceptable to both parties could also do the same role.

Killer: ONLY 1st and 2nd position get awarded points. Some teams wont even bother playing them, already a nightmare trying to arrange them as it is.

Surely say it's 4 vs 4 (as mutually agreed by both teams) then the points should be awarded to the top 4?

2 v 2 - Top 2 awarded points
3 v 3 - Top 3 awarded points
4 v 4 - Top 4 awarded points
etc.

That way more players and teams will get points and also bring KILLER back to what it should be 'fun & rewarding'.
