Its Norway v England tomorrow. In 1981 Norway beat England 2-1 in a World Cup qualifier at the end of which came one of the most famous pieces of football commentary ever by Norwegian radio commentator Bjorge Lillelien.

In it he made reference to eight famous English people past an present. How many can you name?

Clement Attlee was one. I stumbled across that fact today when reading about him on Wikipedia after he was a possible correct answer in today's (Friday) Pointless jackpot question that was missed out on in the end by Richard.

Henry Cooper?!?!

Edit: Ta hell with it, I looked it up... Here are the remaining three names:
Lord Nelson, Lord Beaverbrook, Sir Anthony Eden.

Wooo to Pointless!

Right, my go, thanks Matty

1) What was the last World Cup final that featured two teams neither of whom had won it before?
2) What was the last World Cup final that featured two teams neither of whom had been in the final before?

Get your thinking hats on

EDIT: There's two possible answers for 2), and if you really know your stuff, you'll know why that is before you even work out the answer(s).

1) 2010 Spain and The Netherlands is correct. The previous final between 0-time winners was in 1978, Argentine vs the Netherlands.

2) Both your answers are correct.
- If we consider that the 1950 decider between Uruguay and Brazil was the Final, then the 1958 final contained a former finalist (Brazil), meaning that since 1934 (the second tournament!) there has been no final involving two teams that have never been in the final.
- If we consider that the 1950 decider between Uruguay and Brazil was not the Final, but just the deciding game in the final group of 4, then the 1958 final featured two first-time finalists.

Good work sir, all yours!
