Moved this from new page because I was thinking the same thing, the rules were changed last season so defaults could be anything up to 15 points a game yet every game is 8-7 or 7-7 at worst.
If you are scrapping the defaults bonus for next season the scores need to reflect the effort made.
Teams should only get 8 or above when the player has made a really good effort...sent messages, asked for a sub etc...
If they haven't had their messages answered or an active opponent surely there should be 8-0, 10-0 or 15-0 scores not 8-7's for games both players haven't even been online.
If you aren't going to reward people for playing games at least reflect effort in defaults.

1) people on defaults team are already aware about not awarding full 15 points if people don't deserve them

2) If you both mean Snooker Squad defaults i couldn't comment on them even if i wanted too but i looked at some information and one of them i wouldn't have awarded the full 15, maybe 6-4 at best but its down to other defaults panel to comment and they chose either 7-7 or 8-7.

i agree with you though and its already in place, i can't argue with what the panel decided.

just for an example, on snooker a few seasons back we had a player what logged in for only 15 minutes for the full 2 weeks and his opponent never bothered to log in, because at the time we HAD to use all 6 points we had to award a 6-0 win but because of the rule above i would only offer 1-0.

Just for reference, you can actually. League Runners are there to oversee that rules are being applied correctly so if they arent you can raise that as an issue with your staff without actually influencing the score.

No one is saying any of this is easy but it does help when the detailed guidelines that have been put together are followed.

I was wondering why are default discussions a secret?
I think if people saw the reasons why the default had gone a certain way it easier to understand.

no point having a defaults team if members can see the thread, sort of like a secret place where they can discuss without the outside world peeking in, if you look at the premium forum its the same thing

I'd Love fcl to open This seasons Defaults And Everything else That. That forum is hiding things about Everything Its about all of us So why can't we nip over to the fcl defaults forum and have a little peek if theres nothing to hide ?

Yeah it maybe a secret place but when the default has been done and close why carn't we see?

Would just cause grief for the default teams, unnecessary really. I've had a nose through FBL one because i've joined them and players need to remember we don't have records of log ins any more and send messages and post info on threads.
A lot of the time defaults teams are working off no info other than peoples events which don't show browsing time.
Rather than questioning the default teams players need to do more I think.

would just cause more arguments than present, next season with 1 person from each team in defaults panel it may be different.

Alot of trouble from the last few days has come up because a captain relied on a member of the default team to give their evidence as they sent next to nothing!

Because it allows people to make decisions independently without fear off getting slated on these threads. But then again, since every decision gets argued, criticized, and contested here anyway, it doesn't really matter lol.

And surely that one should be considered a threat!

There was no proof given by you that any messages were sent. That was a mistake on your part as a clan vice/captain. Nothing to do with us!

As Lee said if you had sent the information in.... there would be no issue!

And what did You say in that part of the message what wasn't show eh? and its also against the rules to play on 2 accounts, Also Against the rules to use Abusive language.. and BTW i didn't say what i was going to aim at you!!
