I presume you would pick your preferred game type and then it is straight knock out.

Think this would run well alongside chris's idea.
Chris is for a true individual on current game types US8, US9 and UK8 as per FCL.

Most players have a preference of game so they can they play in dgens to see if they can win that. US8, US9, UK8 and Straight (If it is down to a preference in game type and not mixed no reason why it shouldn't remain)
Would suggest as current you could only enter 1 type.
I personally would prefer no plate for losers as after i get KO from main tourney in round 1 i have no interest in winning a best of the losers trophy (Me personally, i have nothing against the idea as i understand why he has included it)

Maximum of 2 games in a week on shortened game types sounds reasonable and much better than current format, as long as both tournaments remain as knock outs and no leagues involved.

yeah so 4 knockout tournaments with Plates (1 for each game mode), can the members cope with 2 individuals as well as FCL games? if so i have no problem having 2 but if they can't then lets choose one option (me personally i would only enter one).

mine would finish early though as its shorter than chris's i think if my mode was 2 weeks deadline then it would be able right as heres how schedule would work.

Max of 2 individual fixtures until you get ko from one. Current individuals you can 15 games to play when it starts so 2 is low for anyone.

After looking at all your posts above regarding this topic and taking into account the people that spoke to me through private messaging, i have decided to go in favour of keeping the match bonus as 10 points to the clan who wins there fixture.

it will be changing just not using the old format but a knockout tournament instead a tournament provides more spice and unpredictability where as the old format was predictable and was too long in length

So we will be getting a fixture placed out instead?

weekly fixtures for chris's league (im guessing) and 2 weeks per fixture for mine.

i am happy with letting chris run his while i run mine (im sure he feels the same) as long as people could cope with more fixtures.

chris's tournament you will need to post if you don't wish to enter (next season) and mine is optional but to post if you do wish to enter and the game type you want to choose

possibly yes if people can cope with more fixtures, both tournaments are optional either way so i don't see why not

I don't see me having a problem coping so i would be up for the both of them.

Maybe let Jem know though as if there is two (depending on Chris) then another section may have to be added to the league site.
