We deserved the bonus for both because twice the opponents left the games, but we accepted the leagues decision after so many arguments because we decided the default panel was a joke and there was no point arguing over 10 points, as for not giving because your saying we shouldnt have got the first time was the biggest farce thats happened in this league this season, told you at the time, 2 wrongs dont make a right, now we will just laugh at this and move on and hope the league runners next season know what they are doing and do it fair.

You're not very lenient with simple oversight mistakes these days huh?

I sent in all the info that applied. I said he was active early on (remember, he got a clan game done) but wasn't active in the second half of the fixture. Similarly, the opponent was offline twice for more than 5 days (I had asked for subs on the thread), so that was sent in as well.
What the default team does with it is not up to me.

Why do people keep saying we're having arguments, it's a debate, and us understanding why you cheated us out of 10 points..... Thats not an argument, thats you telling us something that should be, and us responding.

James, put your Head League Runner cap on, and take that silly looking Snooker Squad one off, and make the proper decision.

Re-look into both, as both weren't MVP's fault, for them not being completed. Hence why we should have the 10 points, no matter if we're going to win the league or not, and that shouldn't be coming into it!

Also, another little thing.... Can't teams play a fixture in 2 weeks anymore? 3 weeks is so excessive, there are only 2 teams playing 3 fixtures, maybe give them the extra week, not that we'd really need it.

4.2 Fixture bonus points
Each Clan in the fixture receives a bonus of 10 points for no defaults if both teams have no games left to play by the deadline stated.

I think no matter what has happened, or what was said, the above pretty much covers it. It hasn't been changed. But on the bright side, you're still 10 points up.

Only the FBL changed the rules (or they were already written that way) to allow bonuses with unplayed games.

Chris this is correct by the rules on the website but it was argued and agreed that where player deactivates or it is obviously not one teams fault that bonuses would apply to the team who was not at fault.

no, reason you didn't deserve the bonus between skiller vs lyle is that skiller was around during the weekend so lyle could have got it played.

bonuses should only be awarded for games where there is no chance to play the games.

so like i said i can switch the bonus from skillers game to davys but you won't get both, this is my league running head on.

At least we now know being on for 4 hours on the final weekend in 2 weeks is acceptable for trying to play a game and shows effort. Half of which were after 02.00am This after being awol for the rest of the fixture.

Going by some defaults recently i am surprised we didn't lose the default for lyle as well.

3 might not be enough we have SS and they failed to get 12 finished last set with 3 weeks

about 2 am you should know as well as anyone that timezones doesn't mean much on defaults.

example:

gentle_giant is 13 hours in front of UK so because of work commitments etc he might not be able to get it played, don't forget what could be afternoon for us could be early morning for other people.

about the snooker squad defaults we will see what happens with that but seb has already said the clan may fold if it happens this yet so part of me thinks you want it to fold but my other part thinks you want to do best for the league.
