i agree,the tournaments shouldnt be dominated by the clans,low ranks should have a chance to win as well.
Does just seem quite unfair, should add an extra tournament that doesn't have ball spin! :D

I totally think there should be two seperate tournys. For the 'pros' of the game, and one for the 'newbie-adepts'.
Offer us a chance to actually win something, instead of being humiliated and frustrated by the 'whipping' all pro players give!
Or at least a tournament that bans ball spin!

Why though?
It isn't an unfair advantage, everyone is allowed to use it - just like going for 'double' shots, or a hard combination shot
Removing it for an extra tourny wouldn't make it fairer (and tourny wins in that tourny probably wouldn't count to overall wins)

zantes right but i remember no spin tournaments talked about on snooker, at once a week at a random time an idea was to have a tournament where spin was disabled.
obviously it wouldn't be a regular tournament but its a challenge for those who depend on spin (like me).
can't remember how popular the idea was now though too long ago.

we have all started from the beginning and have had a our butts handed to us...
