I'm a clan captain, not a pro, not rude, not that great in tournaments, but I worked my bum off to win tournaments against the much better players....but all the sudden I can't because i'm in an unofficial group?

you get better by playing the better players if you dont like how it is best not to play in tournaments and play normal games with below pro players

best suggestion to those who cannot bear to play the decent players and, more than likely not be able to take what some would consider a bit of banter, as majority of clan players i know are sound, would be to start something on Pool Events Forum where you can have your own category and thus exclude the folk that ya don't want to be beaten by!

lol I've lost count of the number of times he's left a game of killer because a clan member was winning. Just done it again against me.....even though I had an impossible shot which would have evened up the lives if I had missed. Can't stand sore losers

its the only way to get experence is to play a better player
and when you beat the better player it boosts your confidence so good players or great players they all on here to get beat

this site should be about normal play not clans.

It is about normal play not clans, the clans have no affiliation with the site, apart from the site hosting the forums for clans - the site staff have no jurisdiction over clan matters, only site matters which may involve only clan members

All the games based on this site, are for the individuals - there are no clan ranking points, clan tournys, etc.

So how can you say that this site is about clans? The people in clans are the same people as before they join clans - so they would be capable of being at the same skill level, same personality.

being in the same clan can lead to misleading ranks and unfair stats,ive seen players from the same clan handing games to the opponent as a freebie just because theyre " clan mates",therefore making the ranking system flawed. The site would be a whole lot better without clan involvement.

The clans add another dimension to those that are interested which is a positive thing for the site keeping people here without having any effect on the players that don't join clans.
It's totally seperate from the individual comps and has no effect on tournaments, rankings so a pointless thread.

this never happens and, seen as you are not in a clan, are just speculating that this happens. This does not happen at all. Only few players play each other in the same clan. Usually i end up bumping into them in a tournament, which i play as well as i can and win, not let them have a few wins

Rubbish, I play exactly the same against my clan mates in tourneys as anyone else and so does everyone else.
I've seen people not in clans doing that, having second accounts with pages of results
'2nd account loses by default leaving the game'
Cheats will always try it on but that is absoutely nothing to do with clans.
The people that are in clans generally know how to play the game and want to improve so cheating is of no interest.

Clans complicate the site,theyre unneccessary extra's.

Just stay off the clan section of the forum and only difference you'll get is a nice picture to look at when you play someone
