I have downloaded firefox and entered pool this way. It then gave me the option of chat panelk height.
I altered back to size I wanted, then logged out of firefox and into IE8 again.

It had remained on the size that I wish, however when I went to chat panel height here, clicked 6 again, guess what?

No chat panel height again, so had to go through the same syatem once more!

I'm on Firefox right now! and there is no chat height panel O.O Dunno what to do now.....

You'll need to get as much internal height in the window as possible. So, temporary solutions, dunno how well these will work, depending on browsers, etc:
- Maximise the window and you might see the drop-down box. If this doesn't work, try increasing your resolution and then reattempt.
- Press F11 to make the window full-screen. If it doesn't work immediately, try going to another window, going back to pool, and pressing the button immediately.
- Remove any status bar, menu bars, tab bars, etc.

i fixed mine, but i dont know if i should try putting chat panel on 6 and taking a screen shot lol.

I tried to take a screen shot b4 but i dont think it worked..

Actually, please don't worry. I have reproduced the problem simply by making the table size too small and working on a fix.

For next patch I have made a couple of changes
- Removed the padding so the dialog will be able to use all the available space
- Moved the chat height panel option to the top, so if there is insufficient space for the whole dialog at least it can be altered!

I'll patch this tomorrow. Jim, I can reset all your options to standard tonight if you like, and same goes for anyone else who can't resolve it.

Have done it through firefox at present and will revert back to IE8 soon. Once done will not change chat panel height again..Ty

OK this should be fixed now.

In addition there is now a simpler way to setup and play a friend. Click play on a private message window, change game options to suit, click OK and you create a new game room and the system also invites your friend.

Also I've reorganized the code for all the pool games in preparation for 9 ball. There should be no difference but if you do see something odd this will be why.

These updates ahev nothing to do with your internet connection..

i like the update only thing i don't like is when you click on find player and table is blocked out by gray (screenshot on pool) and preferred it when you could see the table.

Indeed, this is how it should ideally be, but there is a problem in that if the game was updating in the background the panels would be flickering. However I figure most people don't use the friend panels for very long?
