The popup dialogs were very flakey - they failed on some machines and browsers, possibly showing behind the game window and being impossible to touch.

Therefore all dialog windows have been removed and instead are shown as part of the game window.

Once any initial bugs are resolved this way should prove more optimal. It will work consistently, opening within a window has less overhead, and it will always be possible to quickly close the game with a single click.

Any problems please let me know.

EDIT: Immediately received an error report that the options game menu is too large.

Menu needs resized... gonna take some getting used to is this

Wrong thread but saves creating a new one, has the 9ball table been resized back to it's original size before 8ball Arcade was introduced?

This update has really helped me as I am with Google Chrome, which is the only browser I have seen complaints about regarding the disappearing/reappearing windows problem and I was reluctant to change.

Yes, I use Chrome too and as it's increasingly used fixing this became a larger and larger priority.

Since the update, I cannot change the size of my table. It is locked on the largest chat panel height with no facility to change to normal size?

I have unistalled and reinstalled java, closed down pc and started up again, but to no avail. I still dont have an option for chat panel height in the options section.

Strange. I just switched to IE and I can change the height of the chat panel no problem.

Jim.......i didnt have the same problem as you, but then i went to chat panel heigth and i changed it to 6 just to see what it looked like again, since i hadnt seen it for years, anyway i clicked it. Guess what happend!? CHAT PANEL HEIGHT IS GONE! i cant change it back!!
