Yes, that's a rule; a few years ago (before I was a member of staff, I might add), someone requested that their friend/brother/cousin/something be allowed to take part, and I said yeah sure, no problem. Later it emerged that there was a bit of reporting of fake results, so I added that rule so that each person would be able to account for themselves on the forum, and no messing about.
If someone in that list isn't able to post for whatever reason, there's a proper reason they've been made eligible, believe me. You can always ask them if they're online

im in, even though im really unhappy with the crappy new game... noone requested this! theres no need for it?? why didnt you make a worl rules version of 8uk, the one people were actually asking for!!!! ahhh, anyway, ill show you all how this stupid game is played.... D:

Far and away the biggest participation for anything I've ever set up, and probably even anything set up on the forums (not counting clans stuff). Entries will continue to remain open as long as people are joining, even if it goes past 32.
