yeah think we really need extension to get it done one of my players was here last nite trying to play his games but couldn't do it he has computer problems when he finally was online the service was down lol

There's no way they'll give an extension with only 5 hours downtime...

At the end of the day remember that we all had 2 weeks to complete the games. The short period of downtime would not affect anything as it was between the hours of 23:00 and 6:00.

Downtime was shorter than anticipated so no extension will be given...PRE SEASON deadline stands. Announcement of divisions etc will be done once staff have all looked at final outcome of the pre season matches.

As it looks like only 3 teams from last season will make it. I would suggest a play off with the new teams to see who goes into the 1st division??

why not just use the scores from these games?

Because they are friendlies. Teams don't treat them the same way your only objective is to get them done and plus everyone had different standards of opposition.

If we don't use scores, could use the total games played.

Obviously down to the league runners what the cut off point would be but if it was the same as last season which was really lenient there would be 8 new teams 3 old.
8 would be a perfect number for a mini tourney, 1 game each then 2 finals giving you 5 in the 1st division 6 in the second.
All just speculation and suggestions though but I think it worked better when you got fixtures for FBL on the same day as FCL so starting the season on the same days would be better for captains and players rather than having 2 different deadlines to play to so I think they can afford the time of a little tourney to get the right teams up.
