sometimes site goes down for a while, usually when kenny has internet problems but he only had his house rewired last week so need some time to adjust

with the new format of the FBL i think you should change to 3 games of straight worth 2 points each with the current system a 2-0 win in straight gives a 6-0 lead to a team straight away which is a bit much

that sound.s better will look at putting that in for start of season if every one agrees.

The games would be too long though, hard enough getting ppl to play 2 straight...not the most popular format

good shout mate, it means that there will effectively be a decider so someone has to lose

i know its a bit different but on snooker they have 3 power frames which add up to 45 mins and they seem to do fine with it cant see straight lasting much longer than that

Straight tourneys allow 20 minutes per round, know some games will be quicker but an hour for 3 games is definitely too much.
That's why i think it is fair it's a lot of work to get those 3 points!

although i can see both points, only thing id like to add is FCL games normally take over an hour so it doesn't matter if another straight is added or not but the ball is in kev's court and whatever the judge decides then the jury has to follow

yeah the time aint really a problem imo, winning only 2 frames and giving ur team a 6-0 lead is the problem

FCL is different from FBL though FBL games take 20 minutes except straight which takes double, now you are suggesting tripling it.
2 frames of straight is easily the equivalent of 6 of the others in difficulty, effort and time.

I would like to see one of the straight games ditched and a 2 on 2 killer in there!
4 man 3 frames 2 pts a frame i think would be fair for that

cant see how we can monitor killer in clan format

getting 2 clan members vs 2 other clan members in killer is going to end in default i think ...not everytime but it most cases.

Think we can monitor it easily enough in the results section you get winner and the 3 losers names.

I don't think there would be any defaults killer is really popular and if it came to it any 4 eligible online players could get it done...lot more fun than straight so think people would get it arranged and done anyway

yeah but fixture wise would not work as these are drawn at random and having the right people online to make subs etc going to make this work near impossible.

How's this for an idea?
The 2 straight games become...
1 frame of straight-still 3 points
1 frame 8 ball-1 point
1 frame 9 ball-1 point
1 frame 8 UK-1 point

That way you still get the proper reward a game of straight deserves, games don't take too long, you won't get the regular 6-0 wins and I think a lot more people would be prepared to play them too.

dont like it tbh, FBL is similar to snooker clan league, we have 3 power over there, only time frames is different from 6 frames of orig or whatever is when we have clan cup which is 1 frame of ALL types (excluding killer and golf for pool obviously).
