2points for win 1 points draw, if a tie at end you go by frames.

some clans a scoring like this

total ahs(3) vs (3) bgh team

mr.pool (2) vs (0) mrs.pool
mr.dot (1) vs (1) mrs dot
mr iui (0) vs (2) mrs iui
how you know who won most frames.

my is
ahs (3) vs (3) bgh team

mr.pool (4) vs (2) mrs.pool
mr.dot (3) vs (3) mrs dot
mr iui (1) vs (5) mrs iui

bgh team win as 6 frames to 5

if you are struggling to understand the format please see the evolutions thread, i have posted and set mine out correctly

FAQ:

do all games count towards who play in division 1?

Yes every single FBL pre-season friendly decides who plays in division 1.

are there any bonus points?

no, only 2 points for winning your fixture either (4 - 2, 5 - 1 or 6 - 0) and 1 point for the draw (3 - 3). Frames only come into play if there is a tie in the pre-season friendly or at the end of a season.

I understand the format, i just think it should be changed so each frame counts towards the overall score of the fixture,

else if a match goes to 4-0 the other person will not bother playing the last 2 games

obviously they will because it comes down to frames towards end of season or in the pre-season friendly.

the FBL was created to try and let the lesser teams compete and this format means that there wont be huge gaps in the score and can always go down to the wire.

there wont be any obvious winners and there is a slight chance of luck involved which would make this league more competitive and in a way more fun.

Suggestion for next time: Mention this somewhere!!!
It's kind of important. I gave you the lineup for a friendly lol, definitely would've changed it if I'd known this decides who goes into what division.
Otherwise really well done setting this up!

edit: and if it does say this somewhere, can you give me the link again, so i can read up on this and other rules

I think he means that if 2 teams are on the same number of points, the total frames won decides.

Right guys, we'll be having pre-season friendlies like the FCL. We'll just have 1 each, don't want to overload everyone with games.

The games will be as follows:

Cobras vs Yin & Yang
TFS vs Vipers (already in progress, so no need to give them another)
Untouchables vs Legend Killers
Unbeatables vs Evolutions
Sharpshooters vs Pool Sharks

Winning teams will go into division 1 and the losing ones will start off in division 2.

Please send spoonie a teamlist of 8 players, clearly stating which 2 players will play each game type.

Thanks

That post was 2 days ago and it was in the same message all the captains received

Yeah sorry, should of made myself clearer on that point

FBL Rules:
http://funkybilliards.webs.com/rules.htm

FBL Teams:
http://funkybilliards.webs.com/teams.htm

If you havent done so already, please send your FBL teamsheets of 14 to Kev.

Edit: please note, the tie breaker suggested in the rules is only to be played in the play-off games. The Frame count is in place for choosing who is in play-offs or divisions in case of a tie, this reduces the amount of time spent having a play-off in those circumstances.

if you look on evolutions thread, next to result you will see in brackets and italics the frame score. Also when you post result on results thread include the frame score
