I totally agree Al, if a player leaves the room before the match is finished then they should be scratched!

It is not in the spirit of competition to stop playing and return later when you feel your form has improved. In a tournament you would just be disqualified. Cup games should be considered to be tournament rules.

It is a cup match - you don't stop playing just cos you are having a bad day. Form comes and goes over 15 frames. If the players agree beforehand to play say a set of 5 and then return another time that is fine. Just to leave the tournament room without any reason or relevant comment to your opponent just strikes me as unreasonable.

if your not going to have time to finish the game then you should inform your opponent at least of this, if it continues then you at least know what lengths these individuals will go to to get the upper hand and all i can say is do the same, its bad/hard enough trying to get games played lately let alone having people leave the game without word or warning. clan organisers are as previously being too blinkered when it comes to situations like this and should look at it in more detail, in a real match it would be deemed as unsporting and not playing within the spirit of the game and the frame or match would be awarded. Slapped hands for RD and UT's, very dissapointed.

yes but in league games you can leave as many times as you like as long as the opponent plays in the time frame which Jay did.

In the case where a player has to abort the game (for whatever reason), both players are equally expected to maintain efforts to get the remaining part of the game played by the deadline.

thanks for highlighting the rules but as i was trying to get the point across that these need to be looked at i would have assumed that i would have known this rule as i do all of the others that are in use, patronising me is not going to change my opinion on the matter and just turning a blind eye does not help keep clans therefore leagues therefore players therefore funkypool strong, just accept he was wrong

Have to state on here that Shooter001 has been presented with 4 seperate occasions where they were going to be online to get this game played and has let me down on all 4 occasions because they had a guest and was too tired, i make a special effort to pull myself away from my personal life (not everbody lives funky, those days are gone) to play my clan matches and wish that if a game is arranged then the player should stick to the arrangement.

maybe it is a good reson but the opponent could have been informed.
highlighting the rules for me.
no i am not complaining i am merely stating that it needs addressing not ignoring.
rules are whack, my four year old could have formatted a better set which are fair on all players.
the game has been played but i am only responding to posts, not just posting to empty reason, its not as if i am on here banging on about it in every 5 mins.
