i messaged my oppenent and he was offline for three days and i seen he was online and no reply. hes the sub as well so im not chasing anymore i ll let there clan get in touch.

During today's cup match rubber_duck left the game at 3-1 down. A default win should thus have been awarded. Antione08 persuaded me to play on later in the day.

It is not in the spirit of competition to stop playing and return later when you feel your form has improved. In a tournament you would just be disqualified. Cup games should be considered to be tournament rules.

but in a league its perfectly within his right to leave and play another time and defaults arent awarded until the deadline has passed.

and cup will never be like tournament rules because what if you had to leave for family emergency or lagging too badly to play like i was other night.

It is a cup match - you don't stop playing just cos you are having a bad day. Form comes and goes over 15 frames. If the players agree beforehand to play say a set of 5 and then return another time that is fine. Just to leave the tournament room without any reason or relevant comment to your opponent just strikes me as unreasonable.

yeah but what if your electric went off or you had a family emergency, you cant speak when that happens, leaving due to bad form is unreasonable yes but he is well within his right to do so and the cup rule wont be changed because 2 people cant get along.
