P.S. also take into consideration, how many players from your favourite teams, actually play in your own countries leagues, then look at ours, there isn't ONE person, that went to the world cup, in the England team who doesn't play outside of England. That's loyalty for you!

I think it's more a question of money than loyalty. Scottish football has no money, that's why we can't keep our best home-grown talent. They all go to England or further afield because they can get more money and also because their leagues are better.

At the end of the day, money talks.

I agree about the money part, I said the last sentence out of anger lol. However you send your players over to us to nurture, at the expense of our own players and then repay us by chanting "We Hate England" or of similar stature, its just confusing

anyways, bed time, to all the England fans, hold your heads up high, there were only 8 teams that got a round further than we did. Jealous much?

Yeah we had a German coach a few years back. Im sure it was our first foreigner and it was a disaster. We said never again and since then we've only had Scottish coaches.

Agreed, Berti Vogts was an abomination.

The domestic players argument is a difficult one. Most of the Scotland team play in Scotland, but they are still awful. We need players to be playing in better leagues, too many players are happy enough to join the Old Firm, where there isn't any competition for winning the league, meaning they aren't playing to their maximum potential.

England is a different situation as it contains a much better league. Putting a cap on teams would promote development for the youth players to become better players. However, it could affect performances in Europe, and I don't see teams like Manchester United and Chelsea wanting to do such a thing, especially considering their owners and managers aren't even English. It's a good idea, but sadly I doubt it would happen.

It's a shame but I can't see it happening either. Any move by the FA to cap wages and fees for the good of the game will lead to the Premier teams breaking away and forming a league of their own.

I'm surprised they haven't already, not only because they'll take all the TV money instead of percentages, but because the FA are useless. If they were a proper business they would have all been sacked for offering £6m a year to a manager before he even showed his worth in international tournaments, and paid millions to a journeyman like Sven.

With FIFA and Blatter being useless too I can see the top European teams forming a breakaway league and governing body from FIFA & UEFA soon.

I agree with Mich, 100% record so far including qualifying.

But wouldn't mind Spain or Germany just for the fact that New Zealand would be the answer to: Who were the only unbeaten team in the 2010 World Cup

Why were Holland 12/1 at the start with the bookies? They won every game in qualifying.

Who are Enland or Englad

And face it Blinky, Argentina were made one of the favourites after the group stages, so to be thrashed by Germany is an under-achievement in particular as they have the World's Best Player in their squad at this moment in time.

England are always over-hyped by the media, and over-exagerrated. We win, we will be world champions, we lose, sack the manager, crisis meetings.
