Uh why are people saying they will join a team when it hasn't even been official that it's going to happen by league staff.

So are we agreeing that the teams in the competition are:

Republic of Ireland
Northern Ireland + Scotland + Wales
USA
Central England
North England
South England
Australia
Rest of World ?

Or are N.I, Scotland and Wales playing separately?

If they are playing together then;

A) We could do it by starting with 8 teams(starting at the Quarter-Final) and we could play 2 legs.

Away points rule could be used, meaning if 2 teams play and the scores end up as: (for example)

1st leg- Team A 30 - 24 Team B
2nd leg- Team B 36 - 30 Team A

Meaning aggregate score of 60-60, but Team A would qualify as the got more points at away than what Team B did at away.

But, if the scores come to a dead tie; (such as)

1st leg- Team A 30 - 30 Team B
2nd leg-Team B 30 - 30 Team A

Then one more leg will be played to decide which team goes through.

If they draw in that game also, then the team captain's will play a decider to see who goes through to the next round.

Other ways it could be played is that:

B) We start with 2 groups of 4, and the top 2 in each group go on to play in the Semi-Final. Once the Group Stages are done, the Semi-Final draw would be;

Winner Group 1/A ~versus~ Runner-up Group 2/B
Winner Group 2/B ~versus~ Runner-up Group 1/A.

Then the 2 losers of the Semi-Final will play in a 3rd/4th place decider.
