Seeing as the World Cup is coming up in the summer, I think we should have a clan World Cup.

I've checked through the threads and couldn't find the old one, and a while ago most of the clan threads were capped, so it may have been capped.

Is there any chance of this happening?

Personally, I would like to see it happen. It would be a lot of fun people from the same country getting together as a team to take on others from all around the world.

What do you all think?

If it does happen, we need 32 teams(8 groups of 4).

Seeing as it's had to get 32 different teams, we could could do 16 teams, meaning 4 groups of 4.

Team list could be:

1. Northern Ireland
2. Republic of Ireland
3. Scotland
4. England
5. Wales
6. Australia + New Zealand
7. United States of America
8. Canada
9. Germany
10. Russia
11. Belgium
12. Netherlands
13. France
14. Italy
15. Africa
16. Scandinavia
17. India
18. Asia
19. Rest of America(not USA or Canada)
20. Rest of Europe(countries not mentioned)
21. Rest of World.

And if any other countries get enough players then can create their own team.

Seeing as we are at an un-even number, we could do a Qualifying Stage.

Hey mate, players are not being put down at the moment as we need to know if we can get enough teams to compete in the cup.

P.S: The clan league runners can also run this along side me if they wish. :)

As soon as we are sure that this is going to be running and that we will have at least 16 teams entering, then you can create the England squad.

Only thing I don't completely see is what this has to do with clans. Not in terms of forum and where you post, but in terms of the number of teams. We have far less than 32 active clans on this site - we don't even reach 16.

I think the only feasible way to reach that large number of teams would be to completely disconnect it from any relation to clans and let people form up other, smaller teams for this competition.

this has happend before when mmt used to run it, but only active countries where used.

Players put their names down for the team they would like to play for and captains were chosen by mmt. These captains then selected their teams from the list of players.

The captain then had to choose out of their team one person to play for each game category (may have been two depending on the numbers)

South England won last time, captained by myself for the most of it. It was a successful event and I would look forward to another one
