Ok ive missed this then.lol. How does that work? Div 1 not affected by this what so ever. Surely no deadlines needed and if given, then points awarded full stop! Am I being silly?

How's it fair that extensions are granted and taken away 5 hours before the deadline!? Making it near impossible for us to get the bonus.

Because an extension was granted to both divisions for some reason. We took that as being what was going to happen until the league runners changed their minds.

Ok as previously stated. When an extension was given, another deadline must have been set so if any points gained within that set deadline, they have to be awarded.

I understand attitudes that if you have an extension to a deadline, you can play it later. I got confused cause i dont see how div 1 got involved in this at all. Any games not played in div 1 by sunday are defaults but as far as the league runners as concerned if they have given an extension, a date time must have been stated so any games within this new deadline have to be counted.

Surely common sense would confirm this.

1. Extension would have to be granted to both div's as th fixtures are released same tIime and you also have the matter of the individual leagues as well.
2. The bonus points are designed to apply to the clans that complete all matches pre-deadline. Be it a 2 week or 2 year deadline.
3. Golden cue incorporates all clan matches again, regardless of deadline!

The fact these rules are being changed on short notice with no deliberation with the players of the league is unacceptable IMO

Any individual who has completed a game outside of the original deadline deserve points towards golden cue etc. all team were aware before the fixtures started that if they completed all their games in 2 weeks, they would get a bonus for all games being completed and no games going to default. With the league runners extending the original deadline, it would be unfair for any clan that completed games after the original deadline for the bonus, then were to get the bonus points. The bonus has always been for completing the games in a 2 week period, not completing them outside of that duration. It is to encourage clans to get games done in a 2 week period, not a longer period if league runners decide to extend.

That's never why the bonus rule was introduced. It is if all matches are completed before the deadline.

Nothing was ever said about if a new deadline is introduced bonuses aren't given. Can't start making up rules now, which is what seems to be occurring.

if it wasn't for the extension there would've been a load of defaults because the first extension was mentioned either Friday or Saturday so if you didn't have your games organised by then it wasn't looking good, was leaving it a bit late, so the extension helped you mtk, defaults were looking likely.
so I can see where keith is coming from.

Too late for that the league runners have already made a rule up by granting an extension.

And yes it is if no games go to default but rules were written on the basis all games have a 2 week deadline and was done to encourage completion in that time, not completed in any other duration. Clans who are unable to complete all of their fixtures in 2 weeks do not deserve a bonus and if the league runners decide to give them the bonus they would be as well get rid of the bonus as it would turn the league into a farce, that is if it is not already there.

Think that Mike the man has hit the nail on the head in the sense of that there was a complete lack of clarity in the announcements by the league runners. As an experienced league member horse, you and i both know that it has always been a two week deadline for bonusees but a post saying there was a deadline, this could easily be mis interpreted, which it seems thats happened. The more i sit here and think about the less closer i get to an answer. If the staff have said there is a deadline without explaining bonuses are being the exception, then I feel this tine bonuses have to stand. I genuilnly dont know who this helps/ affects but as folk have stated, especially in league one, the original deadline has to be the deadline and then everyone knows the script.

If you got told there was an extension, you might not bother coming on, on sunday. You might wait to monday cause you goy told there was an extension. Thats why its unfair and unclear.

Because an extension was granted and I had family round and work aswell. I chose those as the extension meant pool wasn't a massive concern for Sunday, had the extension not been granted I would have been on here alot more throughout Sunday and got them played.

It also could have been played another 13 days for that set of fixtures but it wasn't, if you choose to leave games to the last minute and they don't get played you do not deserve the bonus points, it is players who leave games till the last minute that means games go to default, so there is no way they deserve a bonus if they then complete it with an extra few days.

I think this "mtk" guy is just an idiot.
