and nick, sometimes my pool screen will randomly just freeze, yet the forum page and other sites continue working fine, whenever i try to minimize or maximize it when it freezes the pool screen just goes black yet everything else continues working perfect.

i haven't noticed it happening it ranked matches, just tournies, and it happens often. just wondering if you think that's a sound issue?

I agree, it sounds very muffled. In one way a good thing, but doesn't feel very realistic.

And for some reason I have a completely different (more muffled) sound on the first cue ball vs target ball impact than on proceeding ball impacts (which sound more traditional with a sharper, harder ball sound)

got to be honest and say this sounds awful, need it back to the way it was, I hammer the pack on break and all i get is clonk unless I put the volume full, where as before with volume just bellow halfway I could hear the balls clatter each other and it sounded more realistic.


thought I had got the volume to a good level, not great sound tho, then the boing went for tournament announcement and I nearly jumped out my skin, was a bit loud lol

Please disregard this one - it was merely me mistaking cue contacting cue ball vs. ball hitting ball.

But as others have pointed out, a tad less muffled sound would be good. Otherwise like the effects tho.

can we change it back please

it's fine just have to make the ball sounds louder and the pocket sounds a lot quieter...otherwise i like em

The Sound Is Far To Late...

I hit the ball and there is a 3 second delay in the sound.

aha it now sounds like youre playing with marbles ;(

I've just noticed that when the ball hits the rail there is a new noise, but to hear it the speakers have to be nearly on full

I believe it's quite intentional for that sound to be fairly soft - it also scales (again certainly intended) with how hard the ball impacts the cushion.

With speakers on half power and hit the white at full power i can just hear it rail

Dont know if its to do with this update but this was from the chat room, at least 5 different people out of 50 at the most not responding at the very same time

That happens quite a bit, even before the sound update.
Most off the time when someone is not responding it can be many reasons, as with me when i was with sky broadband the router keept crashing.
But depending on the problem it will say that they are not responding
