A new patch has been put up online where you can view the opponents cue as they line up the shot. A small change, but at least you can see something happening while you wait for them!

In addition you can view your own cue when you line up a shot, this is on by default for new users as it's more intuitive, but it's turned off for existing users.

You can modify it via options, game, and hide cue when lining up.

The only difference people should see is the cue when the opponent is lining up a shot. I don't see any reason to add an option to disable that.

I have removed the old thread as it discussed an error causing some people to log out (now resolved) and had people simply stating they hate it.

It still has a problem when you place the cue ball, which will freeze, every other time.

Which makes you cant break or win at times.

he does have a point as it is happening to me aswell.

Same here, only seems to do it every now and then, so it's not a consistent error.

it wont let me break off in game or use practise table, cue ball looks like a deflated football needing air in it lol

Yeah i cant break, and when someone fouls i cant take a shot, if i had a high rank id be fuming lol

If you have hide clicked the only difference from before is during a game you will see your opponents cue as they line up a shot (and yes, of course they will see yours too).

I dont get it. Why have we got the hide it option if we can still see it? Am i being thick here?

The cue is lagging for me, i can see their cue but it keeps jumping ....

That's perfectly expected and unavoidable since you're looking at real-time data sent over the net.

Thats really annoying, why isn't there an option to turn it off altogether? Some people may not like to see their opponents cues, lagging and jumping about.

I find it annoying seeing my opponents cue but I suppose I will get used to it.
