Right, time for instalment 4 of the Irish Cup series of knockout competitions, and this time its your favourite game - mini golf. If anything this is just to test the water, it's the first tourney in a while that I've set up. Also, the recent proliferation of the forum with a plethora of diverse tournaments has subsided, and thanks be to God. After this one is finished, it'll be the turn of killer, and then the cycle will begin again with UK 8 ball, followed by 9 ball, then US 8 ball, then golf and killer again.

Smithbit has won Irish Cup titles in UK 8 ball and 9 ball, while berbatov_9 won the Irish Cup in US 8 ball. Who will be next to win?

Rules:
- Mini golf
- All players must be Irish
- Open draw knockout
- All ties will be 2 players against each other (subject to change)
- All ties will be decided by 2 rounds of mini golf; if the finished with both rounds tied or with each players having won one round, players will play an additional play-off round (with additional play-off rounds as necessary) until one player wins a round
- Reliable players only!!!
- Players must post here themselves to enter; if they haven't got posting rights for whatever reason, tough

There used to be a regular scottish cup aswell but dont know where that has got to.

Yeah why not make like a group thing then involving all countries in one if ya like, better than restricting it to a select few, also any1 can claim to be irish, im irish can i join?

I had a Home nations UK 8 ball tourney before though between England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales, and you can see it at http://www.funkypool.com/viewTopic.do?topicid=11389 . England won that one. I tried it again in knockout style at http://www.funkypool.com/viewTopic.do?topicid=12323 and I think it turned into England versus the rest of the world (we won!).
