just wondering why , when you do a 1-9 combo in 9 ball or say a 4-9 combo why doesnt it get added to ur profile as a stat .. would be a good new stat to add

It's on your results, the only place it needs to be.

Combo's are not an achievement as such - its pure chance; sometimes a very good shot - but pure chance more times than not.

and it would drag out the profile for a while for 1-9 combo, 2-9 combo ect.

well if combos are pure luck.. then what about golden breaks? there just lucky yet there a stat and not drag out the profile just put them down as a single stat ..

but you still have to know how to do a golden break.

A GB and a run out is the only achivement in 9ball worth noting as an achievement

I am sure that everyone who has won at least 10 games of 9 ball has had a combo in there somewhere. Its just too common to note as an achievement.

There was a big discussion a while ago if 7 ballings should get announcements - and it was knocked back because while it was an achievement, it happened often enough to possibly happen too often in the chat windows.

but if I had a stat added for every 2-9 combo, I would be in the 200's - and some other members may be in the 1000's...which is just far to much for it to be considered an achievement.

yeah i dont think combos are achievements, maybe a combo which gave you are runout, then yes but a waste of space!

I disagree, i think from my own experience, you could put the whiteball anywhere behind that line and get a gb, there is no skill whatsoever required or no aiming.

There are certain breaks that will move the 9 more than others but there's no 'best' break for a GB.

Golden breaks are another topic. Please stick with the current one which is about combos

Also some people get them by luck. It's not an achievement, it's just a win, it's like having how many times have you potted three balls at once or something, not an achievement.

Every single gb is done by luck... quite a few runouts are done by luck these are all included on your profile, so should that mean that these shouldnt be added?

there is videos on youtube of golden breaks done in practise and people have perfected the positioning of the cue ball and where to aim it to maximise the chances of it so every single gb is not by luck

So you telling me you can tell me where every ball lies? that to me would be the only way of convincing me a gb aint a fluke tbh as said before there are breaks where the 9 ball moves more than others.
