I did wonder this a while back though, I was considering running a tournament among a select few for some cash......never got off the ground though

once upon a time we did an unofficial league with cash buy in and cash prizes, the organiser was swiftly banned later on

If your talking bout who I think you are that wasn't necessarily the reason he was banned

Surely this has nothing to do with the site should all the players be of legal age to gamble.. I'd stake a tenner on it if it wasn't killer

i dont think there is anything illegal about using the game to gamble. its the same as sitting down with a few mates in front of the xbox or ps and betting on fifa or something similar like that.

Clarify a few points -

Something like this would not be allowed to be organised on the funkypool forums.

If it did go ahead and, for example, everyone paid an entry fee to a tourney and the promoter deactivated and dissapeared, the site would have no responsibility.

Likewise, any disputes, arguments etc, would be nothing to do with the site.


So, whatever you personally choose to do is fine, but waiting for a secure, safe way of doing so would be my personal reccomendation

you can have another account after so many months, i think its 3. otherwise i wouldn't be here.
