warney said he had "lag" halfway through and decided he would quit aswel as i was actually winning for once, then it was down to the awesome defaults where i can only assume id be robbed or play potty who was better than warney that night, anyway i should have won more but she was flukey in 9 ball and played well in the others, sure i would have won warney better as he never even got a frame, ah well yet another rob really.

Yeah but shouldnt have been that, you should get more erm stable players maybe, as im sure id have beat him better and won more points for my clan, instead i won yah but not what i would have im sure so no i wont stop why should i, i was messed about and there was no option that could have benefitted me unless i took a risk on the default, which im sure would have gone in your favour.

OK before this gets out of hand lets set the facts out

warney left at 3-1 down

potty asked to sub herself in to replace him as he had indicated he did not wish to continue - and obviously continue from the point of 3-1 down.

potty obviously had another option of simply conceding the rest of the frames (14-1) either now or in 8 days time - she chose not to offer to concede them now.

kirk had the choice of agreeing now, refusing now and waiting to see if warney returned or just straight off refusing the sub. Dont forget there were still another 8 days left to get a match finished.

kirk wanted to know what the default score would be if it went to a default - please see my post elsewhere as to why I believe you cannot state what a default score is whilst a fixture is still live. If you know what a default score will be based on every outcome then you could purely manipulate that outcome to achieve that score rather than actually try to play a game.

kirk had to make his own mind up whether he would rather have the score in his own hands (now or later) or let it be decided by others (not by potty) in the form of a default - with 8 days left it didnt need a decision tonight - he chose to play potty tonight.

I think it ought to be remembered this is supposed to be a friendly competition with the onus on trying to get as many matches played as possible - there should be no situation that cant be resolved amicably.

Weel tbh people shouldnt quit in the middle of games, maybe finish them for their clan and loyalty and then throw in the towel, i had a nic lead against him and was going smoothly so was upset when he left and i had to go for what would be who knows default, or play potty a freash player who i hadnt wore down.

I would have been fine if i could just play the match i was supposed to.

Sorry if people think i am wrong for this but i do believe i was screwed in a way tonight and maybe its time for me to take think about if im good enough for this as iv been claimed to be unsporting and the like.

Whatever happened i will not give up on this clan ever but i might remain quiet for the next few days if its giving us a bad name.

not one person mentioned unsporting - certainly not when i was present.

you had a straight choice of playing tonight or not playing tonight.

all i am saying is you could not get a default result decision tonight - but had it gone that far in 8 days time everything that happened would have been taken into consideration - and yes that would have included warney 'quitting' in the middle, potty not offering to concede the rest of the games (had she not by then) and the fact that the game might have been completed if a sub had been agreed to by yourself.
