However, there are only 5 people left... One vote and one murder means 3 left, which may well be game over by then... So why can they not be bothered?

Ok there were 2 votes cast - so i decided to pull m2's cyborg plug so his power source died (although clearly his posting power source on here died a long time ago)
m2 was sent to the scrap metal recycling depot on the spaceship and turned into a brand new toaster (a top of the range one at that - one that does four slices at once)
The alien killers were now in the ascendancy and drove home that advantage by luring the first officer rogan down to the engine rooms where he was bashed over the head with the dilithium crystals until, in the words of scotty from star trek, he 'canna take it no more'. His body was then thrown into the fuel pod and used for a turbo boost.
That meant the alien killers were now left with only one human survivor. He was extremely elusive (in fact so much so I dont think I ever saw him post during this game) but they eventually tracked down the payload specialist keoghz. Before ending his life they worked out that as female aliens, they needed his payload in order to propagate their life source.
And so it came to pass that a lot later than the planned 24 hours they docked in Tulsa and Melz and Summer disembarked from the USS Dora and began their take over of the Planet Earth
There you go - better than just blowing up the spaceship I hope.
