You can't think just because he has a bad lap that its not him
Theres more difficult laps he would have done well so one doesnt fairly reflect his abilities, after all he is a multi-time world champion.
Only he really knows so we aren't ever going to really know for sure but he is certainly capable and it would make sense for him to be high-profile

I can a sure you that is 100% true, it's all over my area, and its long reason why he is not the stig and I can hardly remember what has been said it was that long.
But you never know - why not ride with out his ''costume'' on now?- if he has revealed his secret identity.
I suppose it may spoil the aspect of stig - but let us know the truth!
And one last thing - IMO it is a big lie for the first show.
You may not agree, but that is what I think.

Schumacher is not the stig, He is the one who is meant to teach the celebrities the lap in that blue car he teaches them and then it comes to schumachers lap he stalls, can't drive it, doesn't know the course, and last but not least the salary would jus be to much.

Agreed. Your previous post backs this up; Schumacher was the stig for the ferrari, but he isn't always the stig (if spinner's theory is correct). Therefore, Schumacher is the stig, but The Stig isn't (just) Schumacher.

Indeed, thats more than likely why The Stig character exists. Many manufacturers place limits on who can drive their top cars on hot laps, and having a stig outfit prevents having to explain who the various drivers are, and why they are there.

Top Gear must be loving this worldwide debate as to who the stig is. As said, this was the most amazing thing they could have done.
But that was Schumacher 100% that drove the Ferrari FXX round. I wonder if the 7 second gap was due to solely the car or also Schumacher being better then the current Stig?!

Doesn't that car break the rule of getting a policeman under the front of the car? Because it seemed to me that you would struggle to get a piece of paper underneath it.

Yeh im not sure if they are going to keep the time there. Seeing as Ferrari keep your car for you and you can only arrange to drive it, i doubt it!

So what I way to start the first show off!
Next show I would like to see the stig with his racing costume off!
He was clearly not the stig - would he have the time?
But the crowd when crazy, I wonder who worked it out in the studio?
I've been tempted to go and watch Top gear with mates in the crowd, eventually we will.
If anyone is interested give me a shout as I may need some help lol!
