France, Germany, USA and Thailand won two events each. A great competition in particular for Thailand's Noppawan Lertcheewakarn, who won both the Girl's Singles and Doubles events. She is surely a future top 10 player.
On the other foot, it was a horrible ending to the tournament for French girl Kristina Mladenovic, who lost both finals.
Also a great tournament for the Williams family, with Serena taking the Women's Singles and Venus partnering her for the Doubles championship. The tournament could not have been any better for them, with both being finalists in the singles and winning the doubles.

What a final between Federer and Roddick, that last set was something else, although Roddick should have won if he had taken that second set and not let Roger come back and give him the edge to push on for victory.
Very enjoyable viewing though.

I'd like to add my congratulations to Federer on his superb win in an epic match today, and my commiserations go to Roddick, who, in my opinion, should have won and was very unlucky

I feel so sorry for Roddick, he was fantastic today, but the one time he was broken, it meant the end
He also did very well when he lost the tie break after having a 6-2 lead, most players would have lost all confidence and leave Federer an easy win, but Roddick kept fighting. Big shame for him, well done to Feds. Hopefully Roddick can get another Grand Slam soon, he deserves one for sure.

What a game!
And how sad for Roddick - I really hoped he'd nail it today - so close!
In the end it is a deserved win for Roger tho - despite Roddick playing the game of his life and presenting the most insane serving ever seen in a final, Federer was in average closer to breaking him than he ever was in return (in the last set).
