Thought I'd put in a word before I set off for another days hard slog at work. Was on here last night trying to win torny and improve my ranking. Logged off and went to bed about 12.30am to get some sleep before my shift. Logged back on this morning for a quick game and noticed the same players were STILL playing in tornys. Asked a couple if they'd played all night, one of them said yes. I asked - what about work - he retorted work phhht. My point is i'll never get as good as these guys as the've got nowt else to do - this makes them parasites for me - leeching off the rest of us hard working souls, then lording it over us on here with their massive amount of game time to hone their skills whilst we toil. Ah well just wanted to get that off my chest. Solidarity brothers.

I support every single last word of that.
I'm 16 so no work. I've looked for work. And being told off by old(er) people about playing an internet game is absolutely awesome!
The only difference is that I'm getting a new PC this weekend
Welcome to the digital age my friend... Some of us would play 24 hours if it wasn't for school and sleep.
EDIT: Be lucky you have a job in this current financial climate matey

Just for the record - I started work at 16 and I am 49 now - I have never been unemployed. So I think even though I am, as stated a 'grown man' - I think I've 'earned' a little R an R on here and am also entitled to my opinions.
Great site by the way, well done to all who are responsible for creating and running it - keep up the good work guys and girls.

u started work at 16 right, presumably in 1975 or 76, which in that economic climate would have plenty of jobs. times have moved on, 33 years to be precise, where there are hardly any jobs at all, especially for young, inexperienced people. and that is my input to the arguement.

There's always work pal if you're prepared to look for it.

I think its personal to talk about work.
But I know for a fact (not including you niall) that some go on here in the early hours just to get tournaments which can be percieved as a tad sad

So the 2.26 million people (in the UK alone) who are out of work aren't actually looking for it
Read the article and change your mind on that one

This i'm afraid is the world that we live in. You will always get people who can't be bothered lifting their fat bottom's off their seat to go and do a hard days graft. Working would probably kill a few. Some people wouldn't even know the meaning of work.

My dad always tells me that I'll be working all my life, so why start while I'm still in college? If he knew I had a job he would kill me, I'm fortunate that he has an extremely good job and he provides me with what I want, when I want! So if I wanna play pool all day after playing golf or whatever else, I'll do just that
